This is kind of the standard at basically every club, at least the hundreds I've been to. Girls get in free/without ID/free first drink/etc whereas the guys have to pay/get ID'ed. It's because they rely on girls to be in the club to attract guys to also go in. And tbf, although the girls get the perks in that regard most of them probably have to cope with drunk sleazy men stalking and drooling all over them all night so it must be pretty terrible.
