This story struck me as funny because people are always being accused as being right wing in tibb. I don't think the UK is as right wing as some people think.

Their standard default setting. No thought process required. If you don't agree with them you are Alt right, racist, bigoted, islamophobic (not even a real word) zenophobic or homophobic. Such originality.
What I actually am in foolophobic (my own little made up word). Anyone can do it.
But yes I agree, I don't think some have a clue what Alt right really is so just resort to one name fits all. Talk about water down the true meaning of the word.

I've heard of Go Sober for October but EDL March seems a little extreme

The fact that this march was going to happen (before the leaders abused a group a muslims) shows that the country can, at least sometimes be very right wing.
I haven't read the article, I'll do that later, but I assume they have some sort of restraining order or something? And good. They're terrible people that got off lightly.

Oh lol. It's not the story I thought it was gonna be
I think only 6 people showed up because the leaders got some sort of reatraining order or something and couldn't make it themselves?

Racist Britain.
The country that opens it's doors to all and offers jobs, accomodation and free health care as well as benefits for the jobless.
Look at us, nasty GB.

But this thread is about an organisation that is against these things. Who is the sarcasm for? I'm not sure you've quite grasped the discussion.

More like Mug Britain. But like everything there is a limit. We should not do so if it is to our own detriment. Charity begins at home.

The EDL had the right idea when they started. It was a protest group against radical Islam. They were non racist,Skin colour wasn’t an issue.Unfortunately like all these groups it was taken over by extreme idiots and lost all credibility and then was seen as just another group of racist thugs.
