In 2006 I managed to get a turquoise coloured suitcase for £5.00 in a sale for a trip to Canada. With it's colour and adding a hat, it became a character in it's own right, I called Luggage.
On my last trip to Lundy Island, I managed to break the top handle. At the hotel we did a repair with superglue, gluing plastic to plastic and plastic to suitcase fabric. Although it now holds it weight plus that of a smaller travel case inside, for the moment I am not sure it would hold the weight of a "full load"
So this movie here (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y6m-TATgwiI), on YouTube is a tribute to my suitcase.
Hankies at the ready
and
Enjoy!
