So remember I bought that sofa? Well yeah the guy stopped replying to me and it never showed up so I’ve had to escalate it to PayPal. I’m really scared that I won’t get my money back and idk what to do :worry: I’ve had such bad luck recently I ordered a phone off eBay but when it came I got electric shocks so had to send it back and get a new one.

No offence but buying anything electronic on ebay is a risk.. and as for the sofa always TEST sit on a sofa before buying ... it might look nice it might be a bargain.. but consider this how much to get it to where you live? hire a van? is it heavy? does it smell? so many questions.. try charity shops for 2nd hand furniture you can actually test and check before you buy...and they deliver for a teeny tiny fee

I do hope you get your money back...always do your homework before you buy.. ebay just isn't as safe as it once was...buy at your own risk but remember...

You need to sue them. They owe you the money. I almost got scammed last week. Got a message that was asking for my bank details.
Supposedly from inland revenue. But it has to be fake, they would never contact you by text message and ask for bank details D:

Paypal are great for giving your money back. I had an issue last year, the seller wouldn't reply to me so I went through paypal and they wouldn't reply there either so Paypal refunded me. It's great security when you're buying stuff

life lesson for everyone when buying online use paypal. Its a safety net who will always favor you the buyer.
