We probably haven't heard anything because BB probably isn't going to start until June. You've got to think that lots of plans got scrapped and things had to change after all the controversy of CBB5, all the investigations going on and stuff of that nature, they probably decided to push it back until June. So they won't start advertising until a couple of weeks.

Well no its not official, but I'd say its pretty likely that its starting around the 30th May - 1st June time. I mean when else have they kept information for so long, the eye and start date is usually released around April 28th - May 1st, but no we've had nothing, no press release, no adverts, nothing. And the later we wait for an official announcement the later the show will start.

I hope it doesn't start that late, but I think it will.

It was quite bad last year, wasn't it? They started advertising from 18 days away and I still believe seen as though nothing has been confirmed that it will launch on the last Friday of the month which is the 25th. I think we'll see adverts next week.

The auditions are over and now it's only a matter of weeks before we welcome a new bunch of housemates into our lives for the summer. After the events of this year's Celebrity Big Brother it's going to have to be one hell of a series to stand out yet again.

We’ve kept our ears open on some of the rumours that have started to circulate about this year's series, enjoy!

*New* Ariel shots of the Big Brother house exterior have revealed what looks like a ramp sparking the yearly rumour that this year will see the first wheelchair bound housemate.

*New* The images also display what could be the introduction of a 2nd door, are we finally about to get the 2 house theory!

*New* The rumours on this years theme seem to be getting stronger. Apparently this series will run by the theme of the 7 deadly sins with an 8th sin added by Big Brother to celebrate the 8th series of the show.

*New* There are currently around 60 housemates in hiding, 14 of these will enter the Big Brother house on the launch night.

*New* The final 14 housemates will be selected from a larger group just hours before the show starts in an attempt to avoid newspapers revealing the final line up!

*New* An 18-year-old serial offender with an Asbo will enter the house at some point throughout the series as a fake housemate whos job will be to ensure the group fail tasks.

*New* The Big Brother garden will be extended and also the secret room feature will surface once again.

This years final batch of potential housemates are now being taken into hiding ahead of this years show.

This years show is rumoured to be starting on Friday 25th May.

A full detailed press release regarding this years show will be made during the first week of May with TV adverts due to start on Bank Holiday Monday.

Work has begun on this year's house and is said to be 'bigger, better and very different' to previous years

This year Big Brother will go back to basics like earlier series of the show with an aim to be more 'sexy and funny'.

Big Brother chiefs are apparently 'vetting' future housemates in a bid to avoid any Shilpa Shetty-style controversies marring the show during the summer.

Elstree Studios will one again host BB8 but it's certain this will be the last Big brother at the location.

Beyond BB8, it still unclear whether there will be another Celebity Big Brother.

Here’s the latest “inside” info then:

Several “insiders” have stated the finale will be Friday 31st August. This would correlate with the “13 weeks, 2 days” duration printed in heat! magazine, and the rumoured Wednesday 30th start date.
The start date will reportedly be released on May 7th or May 9th.
The ads will - allegedly - begin exactly two weeks before launch on Wednesday 16th May and the campaign will be similar to the ‘Black Friday’ campaign used for BB5, though tweaked to fit the new theme.
The house is “like nothing we have seen before” and is “completely restructured”.
There are TWO doors: one for exits and one for entrances. One of the walkways is above the crowd.
On Tuesday 8th May, thirty potential housemates will be given just one week’s notice before the first lot are sent into a hiding place in France, presumably for whittling down to around 14.

someone above sed the eye last year was release 18 days prior to start. u must bare in mind that last year it started alot earlier than usual. if the speculated dates are true (31st may, 1st june) then is normal that the eye or any statements havnt released. i think next friday we get the info flooding in.


ps: if anyone sees davina or dermot walkin about the streets of london, then grab em and threaten not to let go until they tell us launch date LOL!

All these rumours about being Big Brother the battle cannot be true. These rumours are only happning because nothing has been officialy announced yet.
