I designed the one in my avatar as a variant on my fan-made eye for the year. I know its similar to the BB6 eye, which I much prefer to the testcard eye.

I hope it isn't too... over-produced. I think if something is simple in design and execution yet clever it usually works best. If theres loads of crap zooming around and spinning into place it looks like some post-grads have just had a show-off on Photoshop.

I like this eye, its very different which is a good thing. By the way this eye is also in todays Heat Magazine, so I would say this is the official eye, expect adverts very soon, maybe even as early as tonight. Also don't be expecting the eye to first appear in between a big show like The F Word because apparently last years first sight of the eye flash was in between an episode of Friends on E4.

Heat also says the show will start in "roughly 3 weeks".

I hate it! It looks cr*p, looks like it was made in a primary school for people who think they are good at art, and worst of all - it's official!

If the BB eye ignored the basic outline or design, I would prefer that. Like the BB5 eye, when the designers ignored the basic outline and made it spikey. I could warm to all the other eyes instantly, but with this, I just can't. I will never be able to warm to this logo. Now, my next mission is to warm to the housemates this June...
