Are they taking the piss? Whose ****ing idea was this? :umm2:

Reducing the live shows is one thing, eliminating two people a week is another, having four wildcards with four less live weeks is all kinds of stupid.

Honestly, have they recruited some members of the BBUK production team? I can't fathom why anyone thought this would be a good idea :facepalm:

I think producers just go with the logic of 'if it's not broke, don't fix it. Oh wait. It's a bit broken. Change everything. Right now. All of it. Rules? What's that. Logic and reason isn't needed it's a bit broke. Change everything. Is it working yet. Do a kartwheel. is it working now. ****. What show is this again. Doesn't matter. Change everything. And a side of fries.'

It's not necessary though. So.

Whatever will chart will chart and be successful with or without the help of the show, let's face it, so whatever they do for ratings is merely for ratings.

The public won't have chance to pick a winner in 6 weeks imo

Taking Little Mix for example, they are undoubtedly the most celebrated winning act now and the public only really got behind them in week 7.

By the end of week 2 we’ll have had 6 eliminations while everyone will have only performed twice.... then it’ll be the halfway point the following week :laugh: this is so ridiculous

Also, by the 6th elimination last year, we’d seen Saara sing live 9 times including sing off’s (the reasons she ended up making top 2)
This year, whoever is eliminated 6th will have only performed twice, because there’s not even a sing off.

There's actually seven weeks of lives this year too which means they could've spread the eliminations out a bit...who signs this crap off?

Mess. This year's XF is just so inconsistent and messy, and what a shame cus the years with Louis/Nicole/Sharon/Simon were amazing with the exception of some messy twists

Any sources that said 6 weeks of live show? I thought live show starts early this year so it could be more ..

It's seven weeks (this thread is a year old)

The final is on 1st/2nd December so you just have to count backwards
