Big Brother 18: The Better Way (Interactive BB18/BB7 Mashup)

When I found myself looking through past seasons of BB, it occurred to me that BB7 and BB18 both had the same number of housemates (22), and obviously BB7 was far superior than BB18, so I'm going to create a 'better' version of BB18 with the format of BB7 (if that makes sense?)! It'll have similar twists and turns, but use the BB18 housemates - and more importantly TiBB will have the final say on who gets evicted and who wins!

Day 1: The Live Launch Show (Monday 5th June 2017)
After the title sequence ran, Emma emerged from the screen and made her way down the catwalk. “Hello, and welcome to Big Brother 18! Tonight we are going to see 14 housemates make their way into the most Famous House in Britain!” The crowd cheered with excitement. “And the mysterious Brotherhood will be revealed to the housemates - but what will it mean for those not selected to be members? All will be revealed!” In response, the audience ‘ooh’ed in suspense. “Now, I think it's about time we met our first housemate!

After Arthur had made his way inside, Emma continued with the show. “So Arthur is safely inside, but I think it's time we gave him a friend - don't you?”

Ellie joined Arthur inside, so Emma could now continue hosting. “So, Arthur and Ellie are getting along like two peas in a pod - but is three a crowd?”

“Now as you know, this year housemates were encouraged to apply in pairs.” Emma said, after Lotan made his way inside. “Will this pair be arguing like a married couple?”

Emma could now continue, after they entered. “So we have Arthur, Ellie, Lotan, Imran and Sukhvinder safely inside the house which means we have plenty of space left for more!” The crowd were eager to meet them. “And this pair know family comes first!”

Each housemate will stand and give the name of two people they want to lead The Brotherhood. The two with the most votes will be given ultimate power over the next few days and must choose others to join. Joining means the luxury of having a suitcase and being immune. The three who aren't selected to join will face the first Eviction of the series on Friday Night! That's all I have for tonight, join me Live tomorrow when we crown the Leaders of The Brotherhood!”

Day 2: The Live Brotherhood Crowning (Tuesday 6th June 2017)
After the title sequence ran, Emma emerged from the screen and made her way down the catwalk. “Hello, and welcome to Big Brother 18! Tonight we are going to see which two housemates are crowned leaders of The Brotherhood! Let's see some highlights from last night first if all!”

Emma smiled at the footage, before carrying on with the Show. “So the housemates have found their feet in the brand new Big Brother house - but who is about to take charge? Let's go live to the house for the first time this series!” Emma turned to the screen, and was broadcast live. “Big Brother House, this is Emma. Tonight, The Big Brother Brotherhood is going to get up and running - but before it does it needs two leaders. One by one you should stand and give two names of the people you want to lead. Arthur, you're first.”

Arthur stood, to announce his votes. “The two people I think should lead are Charlotte and Mandy.”

Please only sand behind either Lotan, Sukhvinder or Imran.” Everybody moved to who they wanted. “Imran and Sukhvinder, you both got 3 votes so will not lead the group. Lotan, you got 5 meaning you are Vice Leader. Kieran, Lotan, well done. Big Brother will get back to you with some big decisions.”

The Show cut back to Emma on the catwalk. “So, Kieran and Lotan are officially in charge, but who's going to end up Nominated? Tomorrow you can see who Lotan and Kieran decided to join The Brotherhood - and I'll be back on Friday for the first Eviction of the series! See you soon!”

The titles ran as they normally would, and the Show then continued on with Highlights of Day 2.

It then cut to the moment Kieran and Lotan were crowned as Leader, and Vice Leader, of The Brotherhood. “This is Big Brother. Kieran, Lotan, it's time to decide the first four people you'd like to join The Brotherhood. Kieran, please stand and reveal who you wish to crown first of all.”

Kieran did as told, standing to make the first decision. “Right, this may come as an obvious choice, but I'm going to allow Rebecca join The Brotherhood because I came in this house with her and want us both to have the best chance.” He explained.

“Kieran, you have chosen Rebecca to join The Brotherhood.” Big Brother confirmed. “Lotan, you must now stand and decide which housemate you want to join The Brotherhood.”

“Right, the person I have chosen is …” Lotan began, looking around the room. “Ellie. Ellie, we have gotten on very well in this house, and I want to spend more time with you.”

Big Brother reconfirmed his choice. “Lotan, you have chosen Ellie to join The Brotherhood. Kieran, please stand once more and announce who you wish to join The Brotherhood.”

Kieran thought for a second before deciding. “I'm going to allow Joe access into The Brotherhood - he seems like a pretty sound guy and we will get on well!”

“Kieran, you have chosen Joe to join The Brotherhood. Lotan, please stand and announce the final housemate to join The Brotherhood tonight.” Big Brother instructed.

“I want Kayleigh to join The Brotherhood.” Lotan decided. “She seems pretty decent and is someone I cant wait to get to know!”

Big Brother relayed the decisions back to them. “To confirm - Kieran and Lotan you have chosen Rebecca, Ellie, Joe and Kayleigh to become Senior Brotherhood Members granting them immunity and access to their suitcases. Tomorrow you'll make the final decisions. That is all for now.”

Arthur stood and sighed. “Well I for one don't agree with your decisions.” He then began to storm out, before Kayleigh confronted him.

“Er, what are you talking about?” The Welsh Reality TV Star shouted, causing Arthur to walk back in. “Why don't you agree?”

Arthur explained himself. “Well to be completely honest I've tried my best to get along well with everybody and be nice - so it's totally unfair for Kieran and Lotan just to let their friends join The Brotherhood when everyone else is getting along well!”

“Well what else do you expect them to base their ****ing decision off of?” Kayleigh raged, getting closer to Arthur. “Eh, answer me!”

“Maybe they could actually give it to people who are actually nice?” Arthur laughed, making the comment in jest, with Kayleigh lunging at him and trying to slap him.

“YOU ****ING WHAT?” Kayleigh roared, trying to hit Arthur. “WANT TO SAY THAT AGAIN DICKHEAD?”

“This is Big Brother, will Kayleigh please come to The Diary Room immediately?”

“ME?” Kayleigh questioned. “I've done nothing ****ing wrong!” She stormed up, and sat uncomfortably in the chair. “What do you want!?”

“Kayleigh, before you entered the show you were reminded of the rules Big Brother has in place.” The voice began. “It is totally unacceptable to attempt physical harm to any of the housemates and for that reason, Big Brother has no choice but to remove you from the Big Brother House. You will not be returning.”

The housemates were all gathered on the sofas. “This is Big Brother. Housemates, after the events of tonight, Big Brother had no choice but to remove Kayleigh from the house. Kieran, as leader of The Brotherhood, you must choose somebody to replace Kayleigh as a Senior Member of The Brotherhood. Please stand and make this decision.”

Kieran thought about it for a moment. “I'm going to allow Raph to be a Senior Member of The Brotherhood. He's been really nice to me and everyone else so I think he deserves that spot.”

Big Brother then closed the Show off. “So, Raph will be immune and get his suitcase. Tomorrow you will make your final decisions. That is all. Good night housemates.”

Day 4: Highlights Show (Thursday 8th June 2017)
As usual, some highlights of Day 3 ran before the Main action of the show began - after the titles had been completed.

The housemates were then all called to the sofas, Kieran and Lotan instructed to stand before everyone else. “This is Big Brother. Kieran, Lotan, yesterday you chose Rebecca, Ellie, Joe and Raph to become senior members of The Brotherhood - but the places of Arthur, Charlotte, Deborah, Hannah, Imran, Mandy and Sukhvinder are all still in danger.” The host instructed. “You must now decide upon the final four members. Kieran, please name the first Junior Member of The Brotherhood.”

Kieran looked around, before making his decision. “I am going to make Deborah the first Junior Brotherhood member.” He stated. “We have been getting along really well so I think she deserves to stay.”

“Kieran, you have chosen Deborah as the first Junior Brotherhood Member.” Big Brother repeated. “Lotan, please state the name of the second Junior Member.”

“Right, I am going to choose Charlotte.” He announced. “Charlotte, you've made a great effort with everybody and deserve to stay for longer.”

Big Brother confirmed the decision. “Lotan, you have made Charlotte the second Junior Brotherhood Member. Kieran please choose the third member.”

Kieran stood to announce his choice. “Imran, I think you should be the third Junior Brotherhood Member because we've had some good chats and get along well.”

“Kieran, you have given Imran Junior Brotherhood status. Lotan, you must now decide who the final Brotherhood Member will be.” Big Brother instructed.

Lotan looked closely at the four left, before making his decision. “The Final Junior Brotherhood Member is going to be Mandy. You seem like good fun!”

Big Brother summarised all decisions. “Kieran, Lotan, you have made Deborah, Charlotte, Imran and Mandy Junior Brotherhood Members which means Arthur, Hannah and Sukhvinder are Nominated and won't receive their suitcases. That is all for now.”

Arthur made his way up to The Diary Room, in the same way he tried to the previous day. “Big Brother this isn't fair.”

“What are you finding unfair Arthur?” Big Brother asked.

Arthur signed in upset. “Kieran and Lotan only represent one part of the house and have Nominated three people, including myself, who have made the most effort to get to know everyone.” He huffed. “I'm really fed up with it and I don't want to be in this house if this unfair treatment is to continue.”

“Big Brother reminds you that it was a house vote to determine Kieran and Lotan as leaders.” The voice spoke. “Big Brother would also like to ask if you are considering leaving the house so we can make the best arrangements.”

“No, I'm not considering leaving.” Arthur said bluntly. “I am leaving. I'd like to go now please Big Brother.”

“Would you like to sleep on your decision Arthur?”

“No.” The upper-class boy said. “I'd like to go please.”

Big Brother, shortly after, gathered everyone around the sofa area. “This is Big Brother. Earlier this afternoon Arthur made the decision to leave the Big Brother House and will not return. Because of this, Mandy as the last saved housemate will join Hannah and Sukhvinder as Nominated for eviction and one of you three will be leaving on Friday. That us all for now. Good night housemates.”

Day 5: Live Eviction Show (Friday 9th June 2017)
The titles ran as usual, and Emma appeared on the catwalk for the first Live Eviction. “Hello and Welcome to Big Brother 18! Tonight, either Hannah, Mandy or Sukhvinder will become the first housemate to be evicted, however in a shock twist they won't be the first to leave as we saw Kayleigh ejected and Arthur walk earlier this week!” The crowd cheered. “Now, shall we announce the housemate with the least votes to evict and therefore safe?” The crowd shouted with an overwhelming ‘YES!’ “Let's go live to the house. Big Brother House this is Emma. Hannah, Mandy, Sukhvinder. For the last 24 hours the British Public have been voting and I can reveal the housemate with the least votes to evict and therefore safe from eviction is …” The three nominees all looked extremely nervous. “Sukhvinder. Sukhvinder, congratulations you are safe and will remain in the house for another week. Hannah, Mandy, I'll be back shortly with the result of tonight's Eviction.” The crowd cheered and Emma was cut off from the house. “So, your votes meant Sukhvinder has survived the chop - but either Hannah or Mandy will be leaving. Let's go live to the house once more. Big Brother House this is Emma. Hannah, Mandy. For the last 24 hours the British Public have been voting and I can reveal the housemate with the most votes to evict and therefore the first housemate to be evicted is …” There was a tense moment as the crowd cheered their thoughts too. “Mandy. Mandy you have lost your place in the Big Brother House. You have 30 seconds to say your goodbyes.”

“Right goodbye everyone!” Mandy smiled, giving everyone a hug goodbye. “Charlotte, I love you, bring the win home for us!” She then exited the house, meeting Emma on the catwalk.

“So, your votes meant Mandy became the first evicted housemate of the series.” Mandy left the stage, as her time on the show had now finished. “Before we go off air tonight though, there's one more surprise in store! Please welcome your final 2 housemates!”

Imran and a Sukhvinder had been called to the Diary Room. “Imran, Sukhvinder, this week the Shopping Task will depend on the outcome of various quizzes. You two have been assigned the Fruit and Veg portion of this weeks budget.” Big Brother began. “Big Brother will ask you 10 questions. You must answer 6 or more to get the Fruit and Veg part of the budget. Do you understand?”

Big Brother left a bit of time for tension. “Correct 2/2. A centaur was a mythical creature which was a cross between man and what?”

“HORSE!” Sukhvinder shouted to get the answer quickly.

“Correct 3/3. A cob is a male of which creature?” Big Brother asked.

Imran shook his head, Sukhvinder in agreement. “Pass.”

Big Brother revealed that answer. “The answer was Swan. 3/4. A cony is what sort of animal?”

The married couple didn't know the answer to this either. “Yeah, pass again please Big Brother.”

“The answer was Rabbit. 3/5.” Big Brother announced. “A plant produced by crossing different species is what?”

“Hyrbrid!” Imran answered, knowing this one was right.

“Correct. 4/6. A poult is the Young of which creature?” Big Brother quizzed.

Sukhvinder thought for a moment. “That would be a turkey.”

Big Brother left tension. “That's correct. 5/7. How far does the suns gravitational influence extend?”

Imran remembered learning this at some point. “I think it's 1.5 light years Big Brother!”

“Correct. 6/8. You have earned the Fruit and Veg portion of the Shopping Budget! Congratulations!” Once the married couple had left, the newbies Tom and Chanelle were called in. “Tom, Chanelle, are you ready to prove yourselves to the rest of the house?”

“Of course I am!” Chanelle shouted. “I am always ready!”

Big Brother continued. “Tom, Chanelle, to win the meat portion of this weeks food budget you need to answer 6 questions out of Big Brothers set of 10 correctly. Are you ready?” The two nodded. “What type of animal is Bambi?”

Chanelle knew this one, as a fan of the children's story. “That's easy, Bambi is a deer!”

“Correct. 1/1.” Big Brother informed. “What country has a maple leaf on its flag?”

“Is that Canada?” Tom questioned, thinking it could be the answer. “Yeah, has to be Canada.”

Big Brother updated the scores. “Correct. 2/2. Which game features the terms; love, deuce, match and volley?”

Chanelle was confused, as was Tom. “I don't know, volleyball or something?”

“The answer was tennis. 2/3.” Big Brother corrected them. “Who wrote the Harry Potter series.”

Both not being fans of literature, they couldn't answer this one. “Pass Big Brother.” Tom announced.

Big Brother gave the correct answer. “The answer was J.K. Rowling. 2/4.” The next question was then given. “What is the currency of India?”

“Do they use a Euro - yeah they use euros!” Tom answered, not knowing it was way off. “Euro Big Brother!”

Big Brother revealed they were wrong. “The answer was rupee. 2/5. What is the standard unit of distance in the metric system?”

“Ooh I know that one!” Chanelle smiled. “I'm pretty sure it's kilometre!”

“The answer was meter. 2/6.” Chanelle looked disappointed. “Chanelle, Tom, if you fail to answer the next question correctly then you will have failed. What chemical element is Diamond made of?”

“I have no bloody idea!” Tom fumed. “Pass!”

“The answer was carbon.” Big Brother corrected. “Chanelle, Tom. You have failed. Big Brother is feeling generous though, and will allow you to have just Chicken this week. Please return to the house.”

Deborah and Hannah were then called to The Diary Room in order to play in the next portion of the Shopping Task. “Deborah, Hannah, you are in charge of winning the Carbohydrates in this weeks task. You must answer six questions, out of my 10, correctly.” He explained. “What is the name of the tool used to play snooker?”

“CUE!” Deborah answered confidently.

“Correct. 1/1.” Big Brother congratulated. “What part of the body produces insulin?”

Hannah knew this one, so answered. “That's the pancreas!”

Big Brother paused. “Correct. 2/2. In a standard lack of card, which king does not have a moustache?”

“When we were in sequester we had a pack of cards that we played quite a bit so I do believe it is,” Deborah explained. “The King of Hearts that does not have a moustache.”

“Correct. 3/3.” Big Brother awarded the point. “Which month is Black History Month in the USA?”

Hannah thought for a second. “I was actually over there for Black History month not so long ago, it's February.”

There was a short pause for tension. “Correct. 4/4. In what country were the 2014 Winter Olympics held?”

“That would be Russia.” Hannah answered.

“Correct. 5/5. Which planet did Superman come from?” Big Brother asked.

“Krypton.” Deborah answered. “I'm pretty sure of it.”

There was a long pause for tension, as this could be the winning answer. “Correct. Deborah, Hannah, you have earned the house carbohydrates.” Once Deborah and Hannah left, Ellie and Lotan were called in and were explained the rules. “You are playing for the Houses Drinks. “Who was the Greek God of War?”

They both shrugged. “Pass.” Ellie decided.

“The answer was Ares. 0/1.” They got off to a poor start. “Which Superhero has been played by George Clooney?”

Lotan shook his head. “I cant say I watch many superhero films. Pass.”

Big Brother corrected them. “That answer was batman. 0/2. What band featured Sting?”

“Who's Sting?” Ellie questioned. “Pass Big Brother.”

“The answer was The Police. 0/3. What is the official language of Brazil?”

Lotan thought he knew it. “I think it's Spanish.”

“The answer was Portuguese. 0/4. Ellie, Lotan, this is your final chance to get a question correct. How many syllables make up a Haiku?”

“Oh I have no chance, I failed English I did!” Ellie laughed. “Pass.”

“The answer was 17. Ellie, Lotan, you have failed to earn drinks for the house so you'll live on just water for the week.” This Week the house will live on just fruit, veg, chicken and water.

Charlotte was called to nominate first. “My first Nomination is Joe. I find him extremely arrogant and he feels like he owns the house which isn't a good vibe for less than a fortnight. My second Nomination is Imran. We have had some good conversations but he is easily pushed around and I don't want him to be led by Sukhvinder for the whole process.”

“My first Nomination is Rebecca. She just is very negative and desperate and I don't like that at all.” Deborah revealed. “My second Nomination is Joe, he just thinks he's the king if everything and in reality he just needs to go.”

“My first nominations is Charlotte, I just find her very boring and she isn't someone I'd like to spend a lot of time around, I might fall asleep! My second Nomination is Sukhvinder because she is argumentative and causing cracks to form in the house.” Ellie Nominated, as she went next.

Hannah was next into the Diary Room. “My first nomination is Rebecca because I get the feeling she is going to be trouble in this house and I don't have time for that. My second Nomination is Joe because he wants to be in charge of everything and it's annoying me.”

“My first Nomination is Ellie. We haven't had much chance to talk so I don't know her as well as the rest.” Imran Nominated, before thinking about his next. “My next Nomination is Rebecca because she has a vendetta against me and Sukhvinder and I don't know why.”

“First of all I'm going to nominate Raph. He's just too intelligent for me. I also choose Rebecca because she's hateful and full of anger.” Joe admitted.

Kieran was called in to nominate next. “My first Nomination Charlotte because she has appeared really down since losing her mum and that kind of energy doesn't fit in the house. I also nominate Sukhvinder as she is causing too much conflict.

“I am going to nominate Hannah because we really don't get along in here, she's too annoying.” Lotan decided. “I nominate Sukhvinder too, for the same reason.”

“My first Nomination is for Joe, he is always mean to me and I don't like the attitude he has. My second Nomination is for Ellie because I feel like she could be trouble in the future.” Raph concluded, making his nominations.

Rebecca was next called in to make her nominations. “I am nominating both Imran and Sukhvinder, I don't get along with them, they don't get along with mea, and it's best for my experience if they are evicted next.”

“My first Nomination is, obviously, for Rebecca. We are nowhere near friends, let alone acquaintances, so she has to leave.” Sukhvinder decided. “I also decided to nominate Ellie because she is spending all of her time with Lotan and nothing with anyone else!”

Big Brother gathered everyone for the result. “Housemates, earlier you all Nominated. I can reveal that, in no particular order, Joe and … Sukhvinder and … Rebecca and … no one else will face the public vote. Good luck housemates, that is all.”

After the titles, Emma appeared on the stage to open the show. “Welcome to Big Brother 2017!” The crowd roared. “So this week we have seen Chanelle and Tom take the house by storm - as well as the housemates being quizzed for food. It all resulted in Charlotte leaving the house after her mother and then Sukhvinder, Joe and Rebecca facing eviction. Before we chuck one out, let's see some highlights!”

“Now, shall we announce the housemate with the least votes to evict and therefore safe?” The crowd were ready. “Let's go live to the house. Big Brother House this is Emma. Joe. Rebecca. Sukhvinder. For the last 48 hours the British Public have been voting and I can reveal the housemate with the least votes to evict and therefore safe from eviction is …” The three nominees all looked extremely nervous. “Rebecca. Rebecca, congratulations you are safe and will remain in the house for another week. Joe, Sukhvinder, I'll be back shortly with the result of tonight's Eviction.” The crowd cheered and Emma was cut off from the house. “So, your votes meant Rebecca has survived the chop - but either Joe or Sukhvinder will be leaving. Let's go live to the house once more. Big Brother House this is Emma. Joe. Sukhvinder. For the last 48 hours the British Public have been voting and I can reveal the housemate with the most votes to evict and therefore the first housemate to be evicted is …” There was a tense moment as the crowd cheered their thoughts too. “Joe. Joe you have lost your place in the Big Brother House. You have 30 seconds to say your goodbyes.”

Joe then exited the house, meeting Emma on the catwalk. “Ah, hi Emma!”

“So, your votes meant Joe became the first evicted housemate of the series.” Joe left the stage, as his time on the show had now finished. “I'll see you next week for another Eviction!”

Housemates have a Shouting Task to win immunity. The loudest shouter wins immunity from Eviction. Chanelle wins immunity.

Day 15: Highlights Show (Monday 20th June 2017)
The Big Brother Temp Agency opens up. Chanelle, as she is immune, becomes the Temp Owner. She just hire the following jobs; Lifeguard, Chef, Toilet Attendant, PA. She chooses Lotan as the lifeguard, Sukhvinder as the Chef, Rebecca as the toilet attendant and Raph as the PA. they'll be set tasks - if they pass their tasks they win immunity, but if they fail they'll be nominated.

Day 16: Highlights Show (Tuesday 21st June 2017)
It is revealed Lotan, Sukhvinder and Raph all passed so will be immune. Rebecca failed, and automatically faces Eviction.
