SIMON Cowell is unlikely to take part in Saturday's X Factor live shows after being rushed to hospital following an accident at his home.
The mogul fell down the stairs before being stretchered out of his London mansion in a neck brace, The Sun's Bizarre column revealed today.
Simon is understood to have fainted and fallen down the stairs at 6:45 this morning after fetching a cup of hot milk.
He was raced to hospital in a neck splint between 7.30am and 8.30am and is currently undergoing tests.
Simon is said to be in a stable condition.
His girlfriend and mother of his son, Eric, is currently en route from New York after news of his fall broke.
His appearance alongside his X Factor co-judges this Saturday has been plunged into doubt
It means the 58-year-old's appearance as judge on this weekend's X Factor has been plunged into doubt.
Simon, who is mentoring the Groups, had been due to witness his acts Sean and Conor Price, The Cutkelvins and Rak-Su perform in the live heats for the first time.
It is unclear whether ITV will draft in an emergency replacement to join Sharon Osbourne, Louis Walsh and Nicole Scherzinger on the panel.
