Just like the American versions when the pubic know who the favourites are they stop voting letting terrible people in

I don't think it will stop people voting for the winner
In XF USA series 2 they announced the entire running order ever week and the same 2 people were always the top 2 and ended up being the top 2

But I agree it's an awful thing because it kills suspense and makes people get too comfortable in the show when they should always be on their A Game and trying to better themselves

It was obviously going to be Grace but Alisah killed it tonight

I hate it atm. But maybe it will start to get interesting if it changes regularly.

This series has just become even more predictable than it already seems
Also WHAT on earth was that music before Dermot revealed who'd won :skull: :skull: delete it

Like it, something different, it was in a rut, audience voting to be overturned by the judges about time the public had the complete say, no one can complain about the winner

You mean like no one complains about Big Brother winners? The public having total say is more likely to make me complain more tbh
When Sharon said 'the public always get it right' I was like :skull: :umm2: *cough* Brexit *cough*

The public can complain all they like the ultimate decision is in their hands no one else's I couldn't give a toss who wins

Complaining about the judges saving a joke act (not that there is one this year) over some fodder that everyone pretends to love is part of the fun of the show though

also they need to open the lines at the start of the show again, having the flash vote was one thing but when it's determining who's being eliminated it's all kinds of unfair :umm2: the pimp slots will matter more than ever before
I'm sure the stats proved that when the lines are open throughout, the running order mattered less. Hope they change it next week
Matthew.

How is it fair that act 1 has the lines ok for 1 hour and act 8 gets it for 12 mins

(A) most people already have their favourites by now, the performances mean very little, (B) the majority of votes are cast towards the end of the voting period (the same is true of most reality shows), (C) how is it fair that the acts who perform near the end will be fresh in the audiences mind for 12 minutes whilst those at the start will not? (D) I'm pretty confident historical voting patterns have proved that the running order matters less when the vote is open from the beginning of the show, (E) twelve minutes to determine who's eliminated is absurd

I'm not watching this series but in XF USA it was more exciting seeing the bottom 3 always changing (though the top 2 kepyt being the same and it kind of robbed poor Carly in the end).
