i would wait til the final day or the adverts i stil dont feel this is the official eye look on the website last year when they released a front holding screen for bb7 this image was used... and the final bb7 eye was completly differnt so figners crossed this bbeye will be to..

That WAS the BB7 eye. They released 3 versions that year. The yellow/ black one, the yellow one on a black background, and the one above.

Actually the more I see it and the more I think about the file name the more I get thinking that this is just a testcard eye. Because usually the coming soon
sites do not use the official eye, they use the black template or the previous eye. On the other hand the shape of the eye is alot different to bb7s as there are a different amount of and a different shape of eyelashes.

Could be that, but what if channel 4 uploaded the image yesterday and the newspapers were doing a regular routine search of the bb site for things they can turn into stories, and saw this temporary eye? I personally think that is eye is awful! Will probally get used to it though, sometime in the series. It does seem a silly choice for Big Brother, thought they were original. BB4 and BB8 eye's look similar, i do hope it doesent turn into another BB4!

I love the eye, I can imagine a comeback of the white background adverts like BB6, which strikes me as very modern. My favourite eye was the BB4 one, this is a much funkier version of that, and I imagine it will look great on the Big Brother door. The titles will be great aswell I bet!!! I think it's hard to judge the eye's sucess without having idents/credits/adverts to put it into context.

It may not be much to look at (or you may not like it) but when it's used in various formats, you may change your opinion on it. I thought the BB 5 eye was rubbish, but they used it very well in credits and the like.

One thing's for certain, the forum is going to be very colourful over the summer with everybody's sigs...!

Not exclusively. Every single use of Reg Orange Yellow Green Blue Indigo and Violet doesn't necessarily mean a link to gay rights.

Or like saying a rose is the symbol of the Labour Party, so that means that any time a rose has been used anywhere, ever in the history of the world, it's been used because it symbolises the Labour Party. That's poo.

I loved the eye from the start, yes it was a bit of a shock when I first saw it but now i love it

i think the eye is more of an updated version of bb4...

just like LASt year's eye was a more updated version of bb3

and bb6's eye was a different version of bb5
