Suggest some tasks

We have probably done this before but wanted a subject to chat about which wasn't eye related lol. So lets suggest some NEW fun tasks which would be good to see in this years bb:thumbs:

All Big Brother 8 housemates, except two, must be blind-folded for just one day.

Nobody can see a single thing.

But the two housemates that don't have blind-folds on, have to help all the other house-mates that can't see.

This would be very different and funny too.


Can you picture it, anyone????

Didn't we have something similar with a blindfold being used...and they could actually see under it/through it? I suppose it would be cheap so they would like that idea...not sure on the health/safety aspects though lol.

Think I mentioned this ages ago but I would like to see a best friends box task...obviously not at the start but when friendships have formed and you have to stay in the box to win your best friends survival or something which will actually make them stay in the boxes!

I always like seeing the design type tasks too painting each other or designing a t shirt was interesting to watch and see what they came up with.

There is two task that i keep repeating that i think would be good.

1 - The BB Hotel
Housemates take up rolls like cleaner, cook, maid etc. with one of them taking up the roll of manager. The housemates have to successfully try and run the hotel smoothly for the duration of the task (Mon-Thur) and to get a 5 star rating. During the task 2 celebrity guests will stay in the house for 1 night.

2 - BB Deal Or No Deal
The housemates play a special edition of Deal or Deal except the money they win will go to charity.

Liking the sound of both of those tasks....if you could have a choice of the celebs to stay the night...any ideas of who?
I think I would want fussy celebs...such as Gordan Ramsay who would knock the food but then again it would be pretty difficult to please him lol.

Celebrity 1 would arrive Monday afternoon and stay until Tuesday evening. Celebrity 2 would arrive early Wednsday morning and leave Thursday noon.

Maybe somebody a bit crazed like Lauren Harris. Or, maybe Alan Carr one night, and Justin Lee Collins the second.

Similar to the Battle of the bands task in CBB5 - How about for another Task housemates must form 2 bands and preform in a battle of the bands. Each band must write, compose & preform a song and they must also direct there first music video. The public vote for the winning band, with the winners receiving a luxury shopping for the next week, while the others must survive on leaf overs from the others.

Why not some tasks which contain a twist eviction as the Best Friends Task or the Boot camp in BB5 !!! :thumbs2:

What bout a task which sees the housemates create a fashion label. Each housemate must make 2 outfite and at the end of the task the housemates take part in a fashion show.

Or another task where the housemates have to run a TV channel nonstop for 48 hours. A 'studio' would be set up in the garden and the housemates have to put together chat shows, sitcoms, news and weather. The public would be able to watch BBTV live on the internet for free.

Liking the fashion show one as that will be good to watch...not too keen on the tv channel one I don't think they could master it at all not even if you chopped the time scale down to a few hours lol.

Id like to see the housemates do a farm task where they have to look after farm animals like ducks and goats and pigs. That would be good to see if they are nice to the animals. lol:hello::hello:

How about, a task where housemates team up into pairs. For the duration of the task the housemates be pretend to be there partner. This means dressing like them, talking like them, acting like them etc. the task would run from Sat till Mon. This means that at nominations they must nominate the two people they feel the person they are pretending to be would nominate.

It might work better down in Aussie then it would here.

I think the fishing task was good, but Aussie producers made a tit of it. It could have been so much better. I don't like these fairytale tasks because they is no 100% certainty they will pass because its up to BB to decide.

The fishing task had two housemates sitting at a well and at random times fake fish would shoot up out of the well and one of the two housemates 'fishing' had to catch the fish, kiss it, and throw it back into the well.

The fairytale task sees the housemates dress up as fairy tale creatures and act out a fairy tale. Also whenever BB calls out a characters name that housemate has to run to the stage and preform.

The fishing task sounds pretty light hearted and funny. BB needs some of that.

Weekly tasks bug me...
I dont like the themed ones, i prefer the ones that make the housemates look stupid :P
I loved the box task, i was in hysterics.
And when al lthe housemates were tied together were funny.

More tasks like that would be great xD

How about a task where all the housemates are locked up in a cage together, the last housemates left in the cage is immune from eviction for 2 weeks.

I think with the cage idea you will always get one smarty pants who will say "lets agree to all walk out and leave *insertnamehere* in it last" which ruins the whole task...same with the box task which worked first time only so if your going to do a task similar then you need extra incentive to make all housemates compete rather than them all walking out and ruining all the fun. With the box task it wasn't so bad but imagine if they took the time to put a cage up etc then they decided that soandso would win in the first hour lol unless they knew beforehand the prize was immunity then maybe there would be a battle...

The above idea sounds very similar to the current task going on in BB ... :wink:

During CBB5 i e-mailed BBLB with the BBTV idea. Either they have maybe used my idea or maybe the just thought of it themselves, either way - I'm happy.

Where The Last Housmate In The White Room Is Immune From Eviction

The White Room - A Completely White Room The Housemates Have To Wear White Clothing And Can Only Eat White Food Such As Slop

BUT ... Big Brother Will Tempt Them Out Of The White Room With Nice Food Alcohol etc...

Assualt course task, that's been a brilliant task to watch in previous years. The size of the garden has it's set backs because some of the brilliant tasks have been in the big Big Brother garden's and this year's garden is too small to host any big tasks.
