Hopefully we will all be sat watching the snow falling, with a little drink (Diet Coke) for me, my daughter will be home for actual Xmas day this year, first time in years.
Probably sat upstairs last minute wrapping of presents and stockings.:joker:
the same as i do every year, down the pub

back teeth floating, counting down the hours to my 12 midday half pint of sherry
Usually clean all day, have a nice bath, put on new PJs and have a bloody drink!
BUT this year I'm working all day until half 9 so probably bath, PJs and collapse exhausted.

Usually just preparing for Christmas day, this year will probably spend it at one of the Christmas markets to get into the Christmas spirit

Usually watch some Christmas TV in the afternoon (The Snowman or something), have a non-Turkey roast, then watch either Elf/Home Alone 2 (depending on which we've already watched a previous weekend), before heading to the pub for a couple of hours where it's literally like a high school reunion, everywhere you turn it's someone you haven't seen since last Christmas/in years :joker:

Much prefer Christmas Eve to the actual day tbh.
The build-up is the best part about the holiday.

New PJ's, a Christmas movie, maybe a glass of wine, fire, family etc
Drew.

All my friends and family insist on going out for a meal and celebrating my birthday every year on Christmas eve which is nice but its a pain trying to find somewhere everyone wants to go, its like a 15 year tradition now. I hate the thought of eating anything similar to a Christmas dinner a day before the real thing. We usually all come back after, stick some movies on, drink whatever alcohol we have, play games etc.

You should make them all go wherever you want, if they don't like it they can stay at home :idc:

When the kids were young we always took them to the cinema and then for a meal and to visit the living nativity (in a farm near us), now they are older and we don't have to work around santa, I will do a few bits in the kitchen if we are at home, put some Christmas music on, watch a movie, sometime I go to midnight mass, depends, we are not always at home and spent one Christmas Eve in New York  and have spent it in Ireland with my Mum or at a hotel, it varies we don't have a set routine now.

There’s a nice Italian restaurant nearby, I’m obsessed with it and it’s always my first choice, I’d go every year if I could but they’re a tough crowd to please.

Probably watch a few TV programmes and a film or two.
Chill and relax into the evening, then Christmas carols on the telly. :)

Have a real good tidy of the house, beds changed Xmas quilts, lol, later hubby delivers and collects presents, then, cosy fire TV ,chocs and nuts, kids go to bed then we sort out their pressies, place the smaller ones in a sack by their doors, bigger toys /stuff by the tree downstairs, sometimes if the next door neighbour is free to watch kids we go to midnight mass, which I love.Sometimes we spend it in NY with my brother, but not this year, maybe next.

I will mostly have everything done by Christmas Eve so it will pretty much be a nice Christmas film on the telly and then Carols from Kings interlaced with a nice walk and a hot toddy in front of the fire.

It's changed for me the last 2 years and this year I'm in the process of starting a move.
Work will keep me in the UK until Spring but my Mum now mostly occupies our new home to be in Ireland.
However she is coming back to the house here for Christmas and New year, so on Christmas Eve we will go to church, around 8pm as the Catholic churches here no longer do mass at midnight.
All of us.my Mum,Cousins and myself will have a meal and finish off decorating the tree with family memories.
Likely watch a favourite Christmassy film late afternoon, Home Alone 2 is one of my special faves.
After church,we will just have a few drinks chat, reminisce a fair bit.
At midnight my Mum and I usually open one gift each.
Then get some sleep until about 6am.
I've always loved that time of year however, whatever everyone else does I hope it is as special as ever.

Taking presents to f&f all day then pub at night usually. The local usually does a Christmas themed pub quiz where everyone must wear Xmas jumpers, brilliant.
