I don't think it really matters which soap people are from aslong as the fans like them and fancy them , as after all it becomes a popularity show . Mr hollyoaks will get a few votes his way as he's probably seen as a heart throb :shrug:.

Emmerdale has made it to the final with Adam from last year , And Lucy a few years ago aka Chaz Dingle (despite her miserable catty attitude) . So clearly when they have a big soap following it helps them :idc:
