I’ve always thought that people thought this was the best series ever, maybe besides BB5 & 6, but I’ve recently noticed that many people now call it boring, overrated etc so I want to KNOW what’s the general opinion of it? X

It was my first series that I watched when it was on TV despite me being age-inappropriate. So I do get some nostalgic value out of it. It was full of lots of hilarity and likeability in a couple cast members with very creative tasks spread out over a 3-month period. But I hate the bullying factor it sometimes got, especially in the commonly notable Shahbaz bullying. I've experienced isolation from peers and it's the ugliest feeling you can get. The series also did pewter out in the last couple weeks. It does still probably pale in comparison to BB5 and BB6. A great series for entertainment and classic characters but not without a lot of problems.

A bit overrated at times imo, the Shahbaz thing was awful to watch and it was full of ***** and went on for too long

It's the best produced series in terms of twists, tasks, house, graphics etc, and 10 years ago it was my favourite series since it was only the third one I'd watched, but now I put BB6 slightly above it because it was more entertaining

A brilliant series  One of the only ones I've been interested to rewatch (this and BB1), It did get a bit dull near the end but that's true of most series.

Can't deny it's one of the best series. Very mainstreamy, not too dark (ignoring Shabbazgate), full of good characters and many iconic moments.

BB7 is a series that I'll always look back on with fondness as I loved that summer and it was a great series, but in a way, it set the bar for the later C4 series, which would soon see a steep decline in quality and the show's demise.

Great series but over a third of it was carried by Aisleyne single handedly.

Yeah it was BB8-BB11 but with a better cast.

In terms of production I think the house itself is very memorable and the twists were fantastic but I don't think there were really many great housemates and a lot of them were either boring or nasty. The treatment of Shabaz and Sam were really dark moments that I would find very awkward to rewatch.

Overstuffed with pointless injected housemates (who needed Michael, Spiral, Jayne, Jennie or Jonathan?) and like LemonJam said, most of the ones on launch were a bit boring and nasty anyway.

Only really liked the older housemates and it's only seen as a classic because of the era it was a part of. Had it aired 3 years later, it'd be held in the same regard as BB9/BB10 imo.

A great first half with the best female cast ever, and probably THE most iconic housemate. The evictions of Grace, Lea and Nikki ruined it though and I found it a bit boring after that, Aisleyne and Imogen the only post Nikki housemates I liked.

It was no where near as good as BB5 or BB6 imo, but it would probably be my favourite series if it was shorter and Nikki, Aisleyne, Lea and Grace had all made it to near the end.

Also far better than any of BB8 - BB10 what you lot on about?

Also the cast of BB7 was no where near as nasty as the cast of BB6 <3, BB9, BB10, BB13. BB15. and BB18.
