Is that all you can find regarding the matter :bored: . It's hardly in the same league as Jack's obvious offensive language and disgusting phrases  . Jack pretty much offended everyone from gays to disabled to black people and the language he used was offensive .And I'm glad he's gone .
If you're going to start digging up other celebrity tweets and texts , God knows what you'll find on Jamie Lomas as he comes across very ladish  .

As i've said already if we're going to dig up dirt on every celebrity in the jungle then we'll never log off the internet :joker: .
Jack's tweets were endless and offended pretty much everyone and not just one minority and it was foul and ignorant . There was so much evidence there.
But if we're going to scrutinise silly tweets made by other celebrities who as usual put their foot in in and type thoughtless stuff on social media then probably most of them are guilty of that .
Doesn't make it right but that's the world we live in where people can't stay away from twitter when they're having a brainless rant or intoxicated with booze  .

Homophobia is homophobia. Being all like 'Beware! ___ IS GAY!' is basically like saying that gay people are predators.

Ok so when is a joke not a joke then? i've heard comedians use homophobic slurs but because it's "comedy" people ignore it or just laugh  .
Plus what Amir & Vardy said isn't as extreme as what Jack has said (unless there's alot more incriminating stuff on Amir & Vardy that i've missed ?) , i bet Jamie has said some silly stuff when he's out with his mates :nono: . Who knows maybe even Dennis has  .
I get the impression Amir was tying to be funny , you've seen how he acts a bit dopey . and Vardy well she was probably drunk . she's suppose to be a victim of internet troll/bullying aswell so very weird (but when people take to social media they lose their minds by looks of it ) .

If you can't tell the difference between a performance and someone on social media making out that gay people are predators then I don't know what to say.
Again, there's no such thing as shades of homophobia, you can't just be a little bit homophobic, you're either homophobic or you aren't and those comments were homophobic. Trying to downplay homophobia by saying that someone else could have made homophobic comments is just purely illogical and quite silly. Loads of things COULD have happened, loads of things could have been said but unless they are then it's not an argument you can lean on.
Unless you are gay or bi or whatever, you can't really tell anyone what is a joke and what isn't because you aren't the one being targeted by it. Don't downplay it just because the person who made homophobic remarks just happens to be good looking.

Okay you've lost me who exactly is goodlooking??? :conf::joker: . I'm not downplaying it , I'm saying Jack's tweets were more offensive it's not difficult to see that  .
I also never defended anyone making ignorant comments , but i'm just saying if we dig up other tweets and messages from celebrities i bet we'll find other stuff people wont like . And i think this is only happening because of what Jack has done which has made this spiral out of control , now people are putting a microscope over everything that ever get's said .
It's not about whether i can tell the difference in comedy and social media comments , because look at vile people like Jim Davidson who is a comedian and a racist , homophobic scumbag yet people find him funny and he even won BB one year :bored: .

If there was nothing to dig up then there wouldn't be a problem. Anyone that is homophobic or racist or whatever online is a ****ing idiot especially if they are in the public eye. Anir Khan made homophobic comments, deal with it.

Just seems weird how there was no media scandals last year except for joel's nudes , why is this year different? because of JACK and his foul mouth that's why :bored: .
Why are Amir & Vardy's tweet's only just being discovered now?? , Vardy was on a programme about trolls and how she was a victim and even from then i didn't see anything calling her out , and Amir's only scandal that was about his marriage problems .

Its not always used as in insult towards people, I wish people would lighten up and not spend their lives waiting for someone to say something they disagree with then make a big issue out of it, lives too short, just ignore and move on
Lets look at it another way. There are things i find offensive on TV, and if I do, I change channel and watch something else. If someone hasn't been proven guilty of a crime, what right have we to dictate how others behave?
Its just such a nanny state, its getting silly.

I actually agree with this. People seem to have turned into snowflakes and looking for anything to be offended about. Does it make their day any better by complaining about it? I dread to think how they would've coped in the 70's and 80's when tv shows (especially comedy) was tinged with homophobia, racism and sexism on a regular basis. They'd have a fit.

No one is actually having a fit though, I was just saying that it must not be very nice to be the butt of someones joke like that. I have no idea what the relevance is about going back to the 70's/80's, thankfully we've moved on from when sexism/racism was rife and now it's not ok to do things like touch womens asses at work and make sure they make the coffee for the boys etc

again, its NOT about ANYONE being offended its about the Network loosing ad revenue.
Im a Celeb is a big ticket show for ITV and ad deals are being negotiated all the time. If the agencies get a sniff of some controversy they will leverage that to get discounts and better deals
"I dont think my client John Lewis want to be associated with a programme that showcases homophobes"
"Ok, how about we knock off £20,000 will you go ahead"?
"its a deal"
They cant afford it so it will be interesting to see how they deal with Vardy and Khan as they have shot their bolt with Jack (unless there is more to it not yet out in the open)

its only messy, because the stupid people have posted crap on twitter thinking it makes them cool/funny/edgy/brave or whatever. Jack could be exactly the same down his local pub and the locals would be saying ... what a knob or whatever, but no-one else would know. They chose to push their views out to millions in some cases, and with that comes an element of responsibility, which they seem to be too thick to realise.

Forget about deleting their "awful tweets" why write them in the first place ??, everything is screen shotted and retweeted and resaved ,so doesn't make a difference to delete as they'll always be out there, didn't Jack try and cover his back by deleting old tweets , but they still resurfaced :nono:, so pretty stupid and naive for people to think when the internet is concerned that the DELETE button means gone forever :joker: .
I think ITV for sure are scared to be associated with racism, homophobia etc and that's why they removed Jack as they fear the huge bad reputation they could get , they shouldn't put idiots in the jungle in the first place, I bet plenty of over 30's were wondering who the F Jack was.

Yeah, imo they should either
A - Do some proper research for this kind of stuff before you sign a person
or
B - Get a producer in to tell him whats happened and give them the opportunity to address the public in the Bush telegraph and let them decide if they want to keep him in or vote them out when it comes time to do that

I would have thought someone whose religion has known such persecution and vicious stereotypes would be less likely to stereotype other religions out of empathy.
No religion is famed for their acceptance of the gays but it doesn't mean that all religious people believe in the anti-gay sentiments of their religious texts.

I thought the whole point was that Jack Maynard's agent/agency withdrew him from the show to deal with the controversy in their own way (presumably a few sad-faced YouTube videos and a nice photoshoot or two of Jack with a Pride flag and a very solemn "look guys I've changed" face or whatever)? Not that he was axed from the show.
I do think younger people are scrutinised more by what they say online but part of me thinks people of his nature - people who are trying to get famous THROUGH social media - would be incredibly ****ing naive and stupid to go ahead without even so little as a quick "search my own username + fag/*****/****/gay/******/bitch/slut/etc" cleaning process? Especially when such a platform is pretty much key to your shtick? With Amir/Rebekah it's very much a "we started using this to talk with friends and banter with fans" sort of tool, and whilst their tweets are indeed...questionable at best... no one really would look at them with such a degree of surprise.
I mean boxing's - let alone the sporting world's - problems with gays is a whole new barrel of lunacy entirely...

It strikes me as odd the whole "ejection" angle because IAC isn't really in a position where it would need to do that for ratings... (then again I haven't seen the ratings but I assume they're high as ever :bored: lol) and it's something, I think, they've never done before.
Even (C)BB are a little bit hesitant on the "dodgy tweets" grounds and they're famed for ejecting any and everyone  Tom from BB18 is the most recent example I can think of.
Maybe it was a mutual agreement sort of thing. Let him know this story had been brewing, and he asked to speak to his agent or w/e

Every male gets accused of sexual harassment these days . But I think that's a BS rumour :bored: . I think Jack left because of the sht storm he's caused on Twitter:nono: it's so obvious that's the reason and itv and producers don't want it to destroy IAC .
If anything the YouTube weasel should of gone in BB as they enjoy putting in all kinds of controversial twts :notimpressed: .
Calling people "gay" has always happened in a joke ,I cannot see anything wrong in it myself
Oh you bloody wouldn't would you?

I half feel as if his management did actually contribute to pulling him out. I think it just seems weird that we're told the truth that we're desperately trying to think what else it could be! (Thanks big brother, now we have trust issues).

They ejected Spencer for taking Steriods

I would hate being in the public eye, they can keep the crazy money they make, having to watch every word i said or posted on social media,as everything they say gets dissected until some bored, spotty youth finds something not 100% PC in it :bored:
