Love Black Mirror but I really miss the gritty British feel it had pre-Netflix. I never understood the need to have half of the episodes each series in an American setting.

There's something about the Americanization of BM that I find being somewhat unsettling, but I believe Charlie Brooker knows to stand his ground and get a decent British balance into it. I do have the concern they're going to overkill the series by ordering more and more episodes for the sake of rating, which puts BM's quality in danger.
They still haven't come up with something to beat White Bear.

Yeah and with NETFLIX saying they aim to cancel more originals than they do renew/create it worries me for the series :worry: The gritty British feel made it unique but going by the trailer it looks very American and SFX based. Especially the one with the space ship :worry:

I don't think there's any need to be worried. Series 3 was incredible.

The major difference Netflix has given the show is budget, which is only helpful towards the very big ideas that Brooker has.

Fifteen Million Merits as an example struggled to portray the idea it wanted on such a poor budget.

For Netflix so far though, that's good. They needed to start cancelling underperforming shows as they weren't axing anything for a time.
