Davina McCall has split from husband of 17 years

Davina McCall has revealed her 17-year marriage to actor Matthew Robertson is over.

The former Big Brother presenter, 50, who previously described her TV star husband Matthew as the love of her life, said she was looking to leave her past behind.

The news came just one day after Davina shared a cryptic quote on Instagram and admitted to having made 'mistakes' in her life.

The quote read: 'Every morning we get a chance to be different. A chance to change. A chance to be better. Your past is your past. Leave it there. Get on with the future part.'

And Davina added: 'I really know about this one. I have made so many mistakes in my life. But there is always a new day.'

The couple have three children, Holly, 15, Tilly 13, and 10-year-old son Chester, together.

Davina told MailOnline: 'I am very sad to say that Matthew and I have separated. Our amazing children are our number one priority, above everything else so therefore we ask for as much space and respect from the media as possible while our family goes through this difficult time.'

Yes because being healthy is a "body obsession".

Or maybe after abusing her body in her 20s she learned to look after herself. Good for her she looks fantastic and is ageing amazingly.
