View Full Version : Iain's treatment...

is honestly really off-putting?

I understand fully there's 24 hours of the day and we aren't even seeing an hour of that a day so for all we care Iain could be secluding himself although I highly doubt that, besides he was literally isolated from the first instance with no one siding with him as PM and the fact that Dennis/Jamie/Amir are very close and didn't really let him in/they sided with Amir when Amir was more in the wrong but anyway but honestly? The celebrities aren't helping that. They've picked up on it themselves, and instead of doing anything about it, they just seem to further that
Jamie saying "he's not cut out" for IAC was really bitchy
Amir bigging himself up saying "he should've gave it a go, I would've thrown myself into it :)" when Iain did try, and Amir backed out of the first Bushtucker trial :umm2:
Oh and I'm not even getting started on Amir. Mostly in the wrong in Strawberrygate, and only looks worse when he didn't want to admit the truth to the campmates, and then when he did he cowered out and said "it was Iain's idea", further causing the campmates to be pissed off and isolate Iain.

Of course, we don't know what else happens outside of the (hardly an) hour we see, but I highly doubt it's anything different. It was a shame to see one of his only supporters, Shappi, leave yesterday, but it was lovely to see Stanley show him off and make him feel better

Iain was thought to be the controversial one but he is a nice genuine family man that honestly admitted to Strawberry-gate and has tried the trials and not just straight gave up like Amir did. I know he misses home but I want him to do well

Ian doesn't help himself though, he's always moaning and he shouldn't of gone along with strawberry gate . And tonight in the dingo dollar challenge he quit , I don't care if he's scared of heights he's not special. Loads of people have a fear of heights and he could of still tried :bored:.

Plus what about the rocket trial , he was high in the sky for that and got all stars and that looked more difficult than this , so I don't know why he made a fuss .

However Amir can shut his ugly gob as he's a pathetic loser himself who's freaked out and quit before :nono:.

Amir is getting off lightly because
1. He was an original and had bonded more with the group and they trust him.
2. He is a liar..and the others have no reason to disbelieve him.

Iain was a prat for going along with him and eating the strawberries.

Exactly which is why Ian never helps himself , and he was isolating himself a bit from the group but he's brought it on himself as he's hard to trust and he behaves like a buffoon ! :notimpressed: . But Amir has friends in camp and they must find his dumb childish behaviour funny  .

Toff isn't a bad person but she's annoying and it's obvious she's going to win , and it's set up for her to win by the producers and everyone involved in IAC :bored: .
Same goes for Amir he won't win but people find it funny how thick and gormless his personality is and they know crap like that get's ratings :notimpressed: so they ram him in our faces all the sodding time to manipulate viewers to keep him in .

There's always certain campmates on IAC every bloody year who get more air time and favoured more which isn't fair on the other campmates, might aswell be the Toff & Amir show  .

I would love it if there was a surprise winner this year like Dennis , but it won't happen as the script is already written and planned  .

I'll briefly explain it:

Amir and Iain won the dingo dollar prize which were strawberries, Amir selfishly thought of eating all the strawberries and dragged Iain into the idea, Iain confessed that 'he' ate all the strawberries (because Amir is a coward), Amir pinned all the blame on Iain, The rest of the campmates believed the snake and started a tirade against Iain.

That's it pretty much summed up.

I really hate how manipulated this is yet again and it's Soo predictable :bored:, I went on the IAC app and once again Amir & Toff are in the limelight doing some Q & A BS  .

Every year now it's always set up for a certain person to win, and they already have certain people they try to push in the final like thicko Amir .
It's unfair and wrong .

I'm reminded of last year when Scarlett already won before she entered the jungle and Adam and his man child antics were always going to get him in the final , it was even obvious Joel had his place in the final as well.

I like Dennis as well and him and Jamie were great in their trial yesterday despite the huge difficulty of it, poor guys but well done on the 6 stars ! :clap1:.

I would love it if the final was Dennis, Jamie & Jennie , but will never happen but I think Jamie will definitely get in the final with Toff but at this rate ugly weasel Amir might sneak into the final as well :bored:

I could equally say the same every year, people moan about fairness, its an entertainment show, who cares.

At the end of the day, it requires people to vote in order to get a winner. You can see that on this forum alone, many like Toff, and its not through producer manipulation, it's because they like Toff.

Bumping again because Dennis/Amir/Jamie are awful and clearly bullied Iain again today!

It was nice to hear Toff try and defend Iain even if she was outspoken </3 even if Dennis thought Jamie would be better, he could have phrased it a lot better, and not drag out an argument, speaking down about Iain and slagging him off. I genuinely hope these three get pulled up on their treatment of Iain because they've been AWFUL towards him :bawling:

Jamie and Dennis are a disgrace, not only are they personality vacuums but their fragile masculinity is pathetic and nauseating

I've been really surprised at Iain. I've always loved him on spin-off show panels and was delighted when I heard he was going in but never realised his schtick was basically all bravado and a cover for his insecurities. I think he's been great, involved in one of the ONLY moments this series and weathered the digs from the Real Lads gang really well.

The show is sewn up for Toff which is a shame as I'd love to see an underdog win, but my main concern now is he beats Jamie and the Very Small Man. If they outlast him it'll be a complete injustice

Iain Lee the most popular pick to win Im A Celeb 2017 as odds are slashed

"It’s been an up and down few weeks in camp for Iain Lee but it seems that he's riding a wave of popularity with viewers and punters alike as his odds to win this year's I’m A Celeb have been drastically cut.

He’s been tested with some brutal Bushtucker trials but has battled gamely to overcome his fear of water and heights and despite his campmates appearing to be less than supportive, he could be in line to become the first ‘King’ of the jungle since 2014.

His odds were as big as 22/1 yesterday morning, but after last night’s episode aired, the 44-year old became as short as 6/1 with one bookie.

Lee is the most popular pick since last night’s show with a quarter of all bets going on him and he can be currently found at a best price of 12/1.

Georgia Toffolo remains the firm favourite however, with the reality star a best price 1/4(NOW 1/5 ) to become the third consecutive ‘Queen’ of the jungle.

Oddschecker Spokesman George Elek: “Rebekah Vardy has faced criticism for her treatment of Iain Lee, but the situation has seemingly softened the public view of him. Whilst Georgia is still the heavy favourite, Lee now looks like a real contender after being a huge price previously to win the series."

Let's get things straight, it was/is pretty pathetic that Lee felt the need to go down the "poor me" route in order to be "liked" or gain any significant support. However, if he genuinely believes it's the only way to topple the toff(after observing, like we all have, that she's the chosen one) an exception can be made. Especially as we've seen the pathetic way in which toff and her gang have had the neck to question HIS sincerity  Trying to run him down as they fear he's outplaying their fakeness with his own "underdog" maneuvers. Now that we're moving into the home stretch.. the desperation for airtime, to stand out, to be recognised as a "winner" is once again intensifying. Highly amusing to watch dummy Lomas obviously believing he has a decent shot of winning if only he commands some xtra airtime(unbeknown to him that the more airtime he gets, the more his winning chance swims away) His desperation to bulldoze himself for trials has been quite pathetic. Made even worse when he basically dismissed everyone else for for the latest one(especially Lee) and demanded he be the one to do it, desperate to go away and come back the "hero" with a full house. Feeling like a loser for only getting 6 from 8, he defiantly assured everyone that it was still the "right decision" as he confidently predicted Lee would've "struggled"..

Anyway, while it remains HIGHLY UNLIKELY that the show would allow any other winner than the one they'd planned from the get-go, IF anyone other than her were to be crowned the winner, it would be the greatest of very few celebratory moments we've had in what can only be considered a fairly rotten season.

I honestly think the only person who's bullied Ian is Amir :nono:, Him & Dennis had an argument but Ian was the one feeling sorry for himself by saying he'll never put himself forward ever again for trials!! and that's not what Dennis wanted .

The name of the trial gives you an incline of what's to be expected and anyone with half a brain would realise it's a tomb underground scenario and Ian would of struggled alot ,why won't people acknowledge that instead of calling Dennis the bad man .

He even told Ian he can put himself forward for the next trial , and they apologised as it shouldn't of gotten into an argument.

Great post. I've been watching in bewilderment at the way the other men (and the Vardy wife) are treating him and how everyone is whispering about him when he isn't actually doing anything wrong. Yes he was part of the strawberry thing but he had a conscience, confessed and apologised. Amir has acted like a total weasel. I don't think he's cute at all, wtf do people keep making excuses for him?

What's making me even more uncomfortable is how all the others are just letting it happen without speaking up. No backbones.

Last nights show really *****ed me off, tbh.
Dennis speaking to Ian like something he'd trodden in was disgusting. I had no issue with his opinion, but the way he spoke down to Ian and tried to silence him was condescending and downright nasty. The cross eyed gnome was essentially saying Ian couldn't do another trial because he'd already failed twice (Whilst ignoring the fact he'd previously won 11 stars). What about when his mate failed and shouted "get me out of here"? Guess that makes it ok because he's "one of the lads". and i've gone right off Jamie. He's seems to think it's a survival course for the S.A.S instead of a game show.

Honestly, I am sick to the back teeth of these three hogging the trials and challenges. I hope after last nights show Ian makes the final just to piss them off even more.

No one is acting a bigger pussy than Amir in the trials. LT. How many times have we seen him scream after seeing a spider or snake?

The previous night they had stuffed their faces with Pizza, chips and guzzled down alcohol, so they wern't starving. If Ian had done the trial and failed, it wouldn't have killed them to eat rice and beans for one day.

Why does Dennis's logic only apply for the trial they were arguing over? Is Iain suddenly more likely to succeed 24 hours later? :joker:

Well fair dues to her , it's what she does  I wouldn't mind if she won but I'd rather Iain or Jenny did

I will be gutted when she wins ,I want ANYONE but her to win,but Im not stupid enough to think its going to happen

I disagree, I think they don't like him because he came in late and they had their clique formed already, you see that happening in all these shows, always happens in BB as well with the late entries.

On the very first task (which ian won too and people seem to have forgotten:laugh:) Every single camp mate sided with Kez over Ian ... why? Kez wasn't known ... Something doesn't really add up in all this

Even if Ian and Jennie get the maximum amount of stars, Dennis and his cronies will still find something to whinge about. They hate Ian, so he's buggered if he does well or not.

It is petty, that's exactly my point lol Petty Dennis tried to make Iain look bad by telling the others he lied about the task and how hard it was

Probably not, they don't really do harder interviews, it's annoying though. The only hope of vindication Iain will have is if he wins

Or stays long enough to beat Denis,Jamie and Amir, he's no hope of winning

I hope after last nights show Ian makes the final just to piss them off even more.

lads dont trust people like Iain im afraid, human nature innit

I think it relates to cave man times when men would go hunting but would not trust the weak men who did not in case they shagged the women when they were away

something like that

They would have been eaten.
