Maybe someone should remind Labour that those in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones! :hehe:

It’s disgusting that they are allowed to claim for a second home nevermind fraudulently doing it.

Agree on both counts. Labour the party for the many not the few - yep believe that. Cheap words come far too easy.

Fair play, if there are dodgy dealings let them be known.. that said I think this digging is to throw a smokescreen over other issues.

I thought we had heard the last of expenses scandals.
I can understand the need with help to stay in London if you don't live in the area, maybe they should consider sticking some dorms in when they update the place.

Any MP that is not based in London needs to have a second home, they cant sell up and move each time parliament sits. Also being an MP is hardly the securest job with the possibility of getting kicked out after 4 years or less.

There is a distinction between legitimately having a second home and claiming for one that you don't have. In this case it is FRAUD and it is not diverting tactics to catch someone committing fraud.

Shouldn't he be treated like anyone else who try's to defraud the public purse and sacked basically, he won't be though :umm2:

Anyone else would be investigated by the police an likely charged with fraud. Beyond a joke really.

Yes he should be sacked. Anyone who tries to fleece the government and the people of Britain need to be outed and got rid of. Corbyn needs to set an example here.
