Sunday 27 May - Possible Launch Date

Looking through the listings that have just this minute been released on the press site, i think Sunday 27 May 2007 could be the launch date...

Here's why...

The Sunday night C4 schedule is VERY open:


8:00pm WIFE SWAP 9/9
9:00pm TBA
10:30pm TBA
11:35pm TBA
12:40am CORINNE BAILEY RAE: LIVE IN NEW YORK

4:05am DISPATCHES: BIN WARS


So there is a big space from 2:25 for BB live. As well as that, EVERY day during the next week has space free at night, and everday from Monday has 9:30 free for 30mins in the morning, possible for the Repeat of BBLB?


E4 is also looking empty around the usual times...

From 12:00 onwards on the Sunday is set to TBA.. BB Live anyone?

Well i could be VERY wrong, but it defiantly looks plausible to me...

Yes, thats the date the newspapers have been saying, the same newspapers who posted news storys thinking fake youtube adverts were real.... :laugh:

No date is confirmed until Channel 4 release the actual start date.

The Sunday just seems plausible that's all.

And i know its doubtful and has never happened before, but the Sunday CBB final did well in the ratings, so maybe...

Actually, the 1st of June is still showing as a possibility. That info was not from a newspaper, but a forum member on DS whos girlfriend works for TV and Sat Weekly.

Yeah, there are a few possible dates, i just wanted to throw a new one in. It's the 9:30am TBA slots that's making me wonder. They start on the 28th and run ALL week. The morning schedule is always full normally.

Just seems to fit.

Last years launch wasn't a Friday... So i don't think it's classed as the 'usual' any more...

I still think Friday is classes as the usual, its a traditional date, with last years being an exception, i really doubt its a sunday, big brothers lowest viewing figures are on a weekend

Yeah I fully agree. It will feel different watching it on a Sunday night. Waking on a Monday to a summer of BB [mind you on launch night I traditionally stay up and watch it the entire night].

Dermot was on Soccer AM earlier and couldn't say the exact date it starts, however he did say it will be at the end of May, so I persume the 30th or the 31st. :thumbs2:
