They're a festive tradition, but most people that I've spoken to actually don't like them
I don't (same goes for Christmas pudding)

I like them only when they are freshly made in bakeries not the prepared trashed in boxes

Yes but prefer home made ones :) . I sometimes eat shop bought ones but they're too sugary /sweet :nono: .

Love them, iced, latticed, plain, decent shop bought ones.
Shouldn't eat them so I try and resist until Xmas week.
Xmas pud not too fussed, always buy a couple but we never eat it in Xmas day.

Idkha
But after a google search, I think I do know what they are, or at least I've tried something similar that my grandma and other relatives sometimes make for parties. They're ok.

I don't like raisins or dried fruits in general, so I avoid mince pies and Christmas pudding like the plague.

:joker: This is true
These mince pies aren't only made with raisins though are they? I usually eat something like this with other fruit in it but it could be some other type of pastry tbh.

This is the description of it:
A mince pie is a sweet pie of British origin, filled with a mixture of dried fruits and spices called "mincemeat", that is traditionally served during the Christmas season in the English-speaking world.

I like mince pies if they are not too sweet , xmas pudding is too stodgy for me and i hate xmas cake cos it has marzipan (one of my most hated things , next to garlic)
