It’s so embarrassing, I’ve never gotten into that state and can’t understand why anyone would want to :umm2:

But why do it to the point you can’t stand up? At that point it’s not drinking to celebrate anything it’s just drinking for the sake of drinking

I don't think you can map out the state you'll get in later once the drinks continue to get knocked back, sometimes one can think they are absolutely fine then next there's a tumble!

Never done it on NYE, NYE is too much of an "event" to just completely blackout for. Fun enough with just a few drinks.

I once ended up in this hideous girls bed in Bannockburn one NY morning and had like a 7 mile walk of shame home. I dont remember the event or how I had even got there, all i had was from about 7pm and before. My 3 mates all arrived home eventually a little before me but we never really worked out between us how it all unfolded. My mate Gary ended up in hospital that night with a broken leg after he kicked a taxi and my other mate Gary got smashed in the face by a random in town. It went down as a good Hogmanay all in all.

That the mean streets of Stirling for you
and Stirling is quite posh
I purposefully got really drunk once to see how it would be like. I have a scarred bladder (unrelated) and it was hell fury & fire... pain, vomiting and lots of trips to the bathroom. Never again
Caffeine is vastly superior anyway.

why not just drink normally then, you dont have to get drunk. A bottle of wine will give you a nice glow and you wont notice it the next day?

I do drink a little bit, but just not very often and not to get drunk. I'm more of a social drinker. Umeshu preferred wine (It's "Plum Wine") or iced margaritas (a big thing here with the heat)

I haven't gotten VERY drunk in a while and that's cause I've hated it the few times I have. At the most I'll probably just have a little to drink during tomorrow's New Years Eve, if at all.
I'm a caffeine *****. No, jk not even. I hate coffee, or really don't even drink soda much anymore for that matter.

I can recall crawling home once or twice.....all part of growing up way back when.
I actually wish I could still get drunk and fall over and slur my speech without vomiting, but these days I just can't seem to do it.
I was a ****ing state last NYE, vomited 8 times on NYD, but yeah I just wish I could get paralytic without vomiting, as there's no worse feeling than lying in bed with ur head spinning waiting to chuck your guts up, and squirming from the remaining taste of alcohol in yoru mouth.

I've gotten into those states a few times but I've never purposely gotten into those states. Sometimes people don't realise how much they've drunk or how easily they'll get drunk. I really doubt people go out of their way to get into states where they're essentially suffering from alcohol poisoning :umm2:

No need to worry about me, I can handle my ale. It's the next day when I wake up, that the suffering starts.
