I saw it. Not sure what the joke is. Amanda Barrie is 82, looks and acts at least 20 years younger, I've never heard her bang on about her age and I was truly surprised to learn how old she is, so therefore her age does not define her.

Jackie would have been the same age I think but her birthday isn't till November and Amandas is in September so she would be a month older than Jackie back then

I hate to say it but age does define her. Don't get me wrong, I've always liked her, going back to the days of Carry On and Corrie, but even now people are saying she acts younger etc, which is against the background of her being an older woman.

I've also known many people that have been old before their time too, and that defines them in the same way. It's a point of reference that applies all over the place.
