So Amanda, Ann and Rachel have all said they rejected the show before and only agreed because of the theme and Maggie is also only in their because of the theme.
Imagine the series without these 4 women :umm2:
We don't know what this series is like yet sexeh

That doesn't surprise me I hope they won't be disappointed but if the first task is anything to go by I think they might be

Care to elaborate? I have never heard/read anything about her being homophobic.

Care to elaborate? I have never heard/read anything about her being homophobic.I hadn't heard about this either but I googled it after I saw people calling her homophobic on here and apparently she has a history of voting against gay rights legislation. I'm not sure if there's other things as well.

There is difference between not agreeing and being homophobic?

so glad that we have this theme then :hee:
especially for Amanda

You can’t have looked very far then tbh. She’s voted against pretty much every LGBT proposal ever taken through Parliament when she was in government. She’s a staunch Roman Catholic so it’s not surprising really.

If you don't believe that women deserve equality within society you are clearly sexist
So if you don't believe gay people deserve equality in society how does that mean you are not homophobic

There is difference between not agreeing and being homophobic? The thing she doesn't agree with though is gay rights.
I actually struggle with whether or not that automatically makes someone homophobic, for example my mum is against gay adoption but is more than accepting of me being gay, it's more ignorance on her part rather than hate or anyhing like that, so I don't think it's always as simple as that. I can see why people are calling Ann homophobic though.
