Some girl claimed he raped her...it dragged on for a few months, but then he was found innocent!!!

I'm glad he was found inocent. Hopefully the girl got in alot of trouble for lying to the police about it.

It was just some girl making up rubbish basically, she knew Sezer was hated at the time and played on it thinking that she would be believed. Just a shame that the sort of people making up these lies never end up in trouble.

What is more, on the strength of the allegation Sezer was banned from the final and the BBL7 wrap up. C4 wanted to have nothing to do with him.

In the UK now, a person is considered guilty if accused and even if some bleeding heart jury believes his verbage. :sad:

That's not exactly true. The charges were dropped due to lack of evidence, that doesn't mean he was innocent, just that there wasn't enough substantial proof for the jury to reach a conclusion.

Actually the woman who accused him is facing a jail sentence of her own after beating up daughter of a well known 80s pop star. She also has a conviction for fraud. And she is now friends with Imogen.
