Honestly think she’ll end up being one of the stronger housemates of the series. I love her attitude and also how she always comes across as grumpy and prude in like an entertaining way honestly excited to see what else she brings to the table in hopefully the coming weeks

I quite like her, she has views that I don't agree with but she explains herself well enough. I love her directness though when she was basically just like 'stop cheering me, it won't make me throw any better'.

Yes I do.
I would be talking to her loads myself, she is interesting and really, when given the chance, gives good insight to her views and why she holds those views.
She's got me hooked.

I have never liked her and nothing she has said or did has changed my mind. She is too stuck in her ways. I mean Amanda is years older and you would think they are from different centuries.

As a housemate she's great, but couldn't live with her.

It's a 50/50 split between these two posts for me.

She is a very good soul and vulnerable too, hence the front.

Anne has her own views and can hold her own in any given situation. It is telling that she is finding it tedious at the moment, I think her boredom threshold is going to go before long and she will cause a showdown with her acerbic tongue.
It must be awful for her, at her age and beliefs to be with people who go against many of the traditions she was brought up with. It is only in recent times being Gay, Lesbian, Transgender and other lifestyle have been thought acceptable but I can remember when they were thought of as the complete opposite.
This means Anne has to deal with a huge about turn in values throughout her life and if she cannot agree to all of them, she has challenged many issues in Parliament and done a great deal of good.
Those who feel she should be more accepting of these issues should ask themselves how they would feel if their beliefs were turned around and were considered abhorrent a few years on in life. Then shouldn't they be more accepting of others and act in the way, they are imposing on others, themselves.

I like her.
I don't agree with all she believes in, but then I am not religious and have a different outlook on life to her.
Her honesty is refreshing.
Edit.
Oooh yes, she has amazing taste, her home is to die for.

I like Ann and love the forthright way she puts across her views but I hope she lightens up, as her constant disproving looks and her sour expression are beginning to get me down and I would find that side of her rather hard to live with.

Amanda is a very liberal person...a Carry on actress in those Hanky Panky days..two very different people from two very different worlds.
Amanda can relate to anyone and is very open minded. Ann has very straight laced opinions and very set in her ways.
I don't like her much at this point. She's too abrupt and humourless for my taste...I'd like to see a fun side to her as well. But she's no doubt going to be a brilliant HM and a central part of the action.
She comes from my neck of the woods so i've been exposed to her for years. She is a very passionate lady that I will agree with 2 out of 10 times, but whether you agree with her point of view or not, you know that she passionately believes in what she is saying, so it's well worth at least listening to her.
She is quite a stirrer, and will act completely innocent while dropping a bomb that may take some time to go off. That's what i'm looking forward to, I think she will cause havoc one way or another

She has some very horrible views. She lives her life by a set of values that are alien to me. She is not willing to listen to anybody else’s opinion. Yes she is straight down the line and says what she thinks.. but what she thinks is bull****.
Thinking of her as a straight talking cute old lady is dangerous.
Or am I taking this all to seriously.. :joker:

I think Ann is a very interesting character and will make good tv. I don't always agree with her opinion but I like her straight talking no nonsense style.
Epic.

I'm actually enjoying her, she's really getting this series energized. Not fully convinced yet though

I don't know that she is stuck in her ways as much as she has lived her life and her views on based on what she's personally experienced.
Just because we don't all latch onto each other and start praising everyone doesn't invalidate her or anyone way of experiencing things. We all see things from our own point of view/perception, and to suddenly drop all of what still resonates with us individually in light of the current status quo would be very inauthentic.

I like her
I do like Ann, but I don't know how much I will end up liking her by time this is all over. Her commentary is interesting to me, and I enjoy someone who is just simply upfront with what they have to say. Still, the house seems so far like a cross between The View and a Christmas episode in an American citcom.... I may end up feeling very differently when the shine starts to wear off.

I agree, this is what I'm enjoying and finding kinda amusing. :joker: She seems ok to me, maybe not amazing like I originally thought but I think I'll like her.

I do enjoy her presence in the house. She's a natural party popper, robotic, highly intelligent and articulate. It's like this old intimidating teacher that you feel like tiptoeing around, yet hold a great respect to their personality and character.
She's perfect for BB and I hope the public wouldn't vote her out so quickly (as ungrateful as the voters tend to be).

I think she'll actually end up winning tbh (don't bookmark me, I'm usually wrong about this stuff!)

Although I couldn't say I like her, I do want her to continue in the house, because she is a very strong female (which is what the series is about, no?)
I am enjoying her strictly catholic (with both a small and large C) views in light of some others in the house, and feel that she provides a very necessary viewpoint - you can't expect everyone just to go along with the (excessively) liberal and politically correct opinions we are all having rammed down our throats right now, and why SHOULD everyone agree?
Doesn't make her right, doesn't make her wrong, but she remains, imo, a voice and opinion to be taken into consideration.
Long may she stay!

She's moody + old + woman. It's a fatal combination.
