Just a general question to admin (and no one else!)

How come when Linda got a week ban, she was let off after 24 hours, but when Soph got one she had to do the whole lot.:puzzled: It was even Sophies birthday and she wasnt allowed to celebrate the way she wanted to.

You unbanned Linda cos you "didnt like banning people"

(not attack on Linda, cos I am glad you unbanned Linda, but I think you should have done the same to Soph).

Hi Chris,

I understand where you are coming from but it was not that we dont like banning people (which we dont), it was about the circumstances surrounding Linda's ban that made us re-consider our decision.

This time the circumstances were different and to be honest each ban is looked at on an individual basis, especially the 7 day bans as it is a long time to be excluded from somewhere you enjoy hanging out. The decision was made that the ban stood, so hopefully that explains things a little for you.

and didnt Soph get banned for calling someone an idiot?

No Chris - Sophie was banned for more than calling someone an idiot! the calling of another member was really the final straw, lets keep things in perspective here! Remember she was banned almost straight away after returning from one ban!

You know Chris speaking from an Admin point of view its really difficult when faced with these issues about the best course of action to take. We dont always get it right I will admit that, but hey we are human. I dont really want to talk about specific members anymore in a public way but if you would like to please feel free to U2U me.
