She’s clearly very scarred by her past and hasn’t quite come to terms with it. Cooping her up in a house for god knows how long doesn’t seem the best idea - you’d think her employers would be a bit more self-aware.
I feel really, really sorry for her. She is annoying, and does bring a lot of the issues that she’s faced in the house, on herself. But she clearly hasn’t quite recovered from her transition yet and that’s not the sort of role model Trans people need.
For her own sake, she needs to leave and she needs to heal.

Maybe they’ll both need some help to get through this.
But learning to embrace your parents new identity is one thing, being embarrassed by them on national television is one thing too (think of all the parents who have made arses of themselves on this show, it’s nothing new).
Being traumatised by your own gender identity is completely different. India has years of baggage behind her that clearly hasn’t been resolved - so yes, I’d argue she slightly edges it on the scarred past front.

Compared to India, Lauren is a Golden Retriever pitted against a Pit Bull.
I have a soft spot for Lauren as she showed for Courtney Stoddard in their CBB. So far I have not seen one shred of compassion or empathy from India that wasn't for herself.

Totally agree with this. India has not shown any other HM any warmth or compassion. she is obsessed with bringing every subject back to her. If it's not about her she throws her toys out of the pram & storms off. Knowing Rachel from seeing her on television, she seems to be playing up to India to be politically correct rather than taking her to task on her childish behaviour.
India seems totally cold & selfish. there is nothing warm about her at all.
She has zero empathy with those around her, that's probably the biggest problem. If she had that she would understand from her hm's reactions that she was going down the wrong path with them. Transgender may not be the issue at all, she may simply be on the spectrum

It always amuses me how someone in India's position will always get support and sympathy from some people, regardless of how rude she is, how ridiculously insincere she is and how stupid she looks. Everybody has issues in their life, you can't pretend to understand India's just because she talks about it all the time, because you have no idea what issues other people are struggling with. And after watching her on TV for less than a week that's a MASSIVE stretch to claim you know who "edges it" on the trauma front.
She has placed herself on TV and shown us all what a vain, self-centred person she is, she has said her son is really struggling with her transition, and she thought the best way to handle that would be to dress like a twenty year old on Celebrity Big Brother.
If she's looking for sympathy from me, she can find it in the dictionary between sh1t and syphilis.

I watched her reading the news and on BBBOTS and didn't know of her story.
My opinion of her was that she was a bit odd but couldn't put my finger on why.
Now it has become obvious.
However, her disinterested way of reading the news was very off putting and I was glad it was only the headlines. More polished newsreaders showed some empathy at least and again we are seeing her lack of feeling in CBB whilst dealing with issues.

India despite having the 3 piece took away and a gas oven installed you still seem to be very very concerned about not being accepted as a woman . you completely over react at a few slips of the tongue by ann and Amanda . I then see next you appear in a dress with WOMAN written all over it . I noted another contestant say I think we have a VICTIM in the house . I FEELGIVEN YOUR APPEARANCE AND GENITALS ETC YOU ARE SEEN AS A WOMAN AND FOLK WERE SPEAKING PAST TENSE HE/SHE SHE/HE . GET OVER IT PLEASE

Re India, I don't believe you can compare him to Harries. The latter is clearly more challenged than the former. And it's just too easy for someone(and their apologists) to put his/her selfish, irrational, pig ignorant, rude behaviour down to their "poor me" story. The world doesn't elegantly revolve around 1 person, and yet morons like India clearly expect it to.

After John , Malika & Ashley all opening up about the situation you'd think India will shut up now about it all . All of them have reassured the daft bint that nobody was being malicious to her . So she needs to stop playing the victim now :bored: .
Even in the bathroom with Ashley she laid on thick the self pity act again and started saying how nobody will want to date her because she's trans and blah blah  .

For someone who wanted to be a woman for 50 years she doesn't dress very feminine, she more time that not wears masculine clothes

Probably making up for lost time and trying to dress like a 19 year old.
....hmmm I don’t mind her actually, I just think she goes around things the wrong way, but that’s possibly because of prejudices and judgements she’s felt through her life...she doesn’t leave any understanding of genuine mistakes like with Amanda, which will only alienate her housemates and the public...I think she has a long journey ahead of her of how to communicate what she wants to say so that people listen....she’s prickly but she’s ok, not someone I could really dislike as such/she just doesn’t do herself any favours.....

If she is lacking confidence in her new body, why walk about half naked in front of the cameras?
It is more she cannot dictate how her housemates should think, behave and speak which is upsetting her.

More attention seeking garbage from the weirdo on the latest ep. Malika did the only sensible thing by immediately getting up and walking away from the patheticness of it all. But the one good thing it did was expose Andrew and his "nice lad" act. His true character was unmasked when he stormed away(probably in fear of pimp slapping India) cussing derogatory male terms.

India is upsetting everyone , so i knew Andrew would let rip and swear and i'm glad he walked away because nobody should give her the attention she desperately craves! .
She must want the whole house to shag her or something!, or stay glued to her like some defenceless poor victim !!! . she's a pathetic idiot and its embarrassing that at her age she hasn't grown up!.
she expects people to make a fuss and always be hugging her and kissing her arse and apologising all the time . They should all just tell her to F off . Everyone in that house has been nice to her and she's thrown it back in their faces . They've all been more than understanding and they should give up on her as she's a lost cause and it's a waste of time .
She's treating them like dirt, anyone would think they've all ganged up and bullied her and called her derogatory names!!. Maybe in her delusional head but in real life they've all given her far too much patience and politeness and warmth that she quite frankly DOESN'T DESERVE! ,as she's a bitch  . And i'm sick of people having to apologise when they express themselves and having to walk on egg shells around her because she's so mentally unstable .
