Haven't watched it since it stopped on E4.
Started with season 7 the other day and just let it play in the background. Season 9 episode 2 now. :hee:

As much as I love Friends, it’s on Comedy Central everyday and I can just watch it when it’s on.

People Are Now Complaining ‘Friends’ Is Homophobic, Misogynistic And Transphobic
'Millennials' will always find something to be offended about, it seems

There are tonnes of gay jokes and some trans jokes but I wouldn't call it phobic.
Rachel calls Ross out on his bullsh*t when it comes to the male nanny too.

The fact you find friends funnier Dad's Army, explains why the World is such a miserable place today.

Not a big deal it's always on TV and I watched every single episode when it was originally on. What is a big deal at how old it makes me feel that there is a whole generation that haven't experienced it and have no idea why it was so loved in the first place, that makes me sad very sad

I suggest for you the Dad's Army boxset, It'll bring laughter to your life and that'd be a change for you from arguing on here until you get the last word in.

Aww there's a good comeback in there somewhere Alf. But the spelling is off, it's ill thought out, hypocritical and it's still desperately trying to make something out of Dad's Army.
A really good effort at baiting though.

A good effort at baiting? You were the one who butted in. TS obviously put the Dad's Army part in for me, as we've had a discussion on it before.
I currently have the last word (Now I'm baiting)

Yeah, me responding to someone quoting my posts is getting the last word in but... people responding to me aren't. Ok.
More laughable and nonsensical hypocriticism.
I didn't butt in, it's a public forum. You want privacy? Go elsewhere.

WHAT IS HAPPENING HERE I just watched the episode just after Ross and Rachel broke up and I haven't seen it before??? They all went skiing except Ross. Joey wrote a help sign that said "pleh". I'm on the next episode now and I've definitely seen it multiple times... And all the others I can see in the list.
I'm so confused and upset. How did this happen?
Also when did this thread turn into a fight... Lol...

... there is no such episode. did you fall asleep while watching it or something? that's why you've never seen it before, it doesn't exist!

The one where they all go skiing is a classic. :nono:
Although it reminds me of when Friends first moved to comedy central and I came across The One with the Cooking Class and I'd NEVER seen it before despite watching the show on E4 endlessly. I was shook to my very core.

E4 also cut out quite a lot of content (which tended to be punchlines, which sometimes made things quite confusing) because they censored a lot of the mild swearing / sexual innuendo. There were a few that I saw for the first time on E4 despite being sure I had seen them all during the actual "non syndication" run and those were always fun surprises... But yeah... It was on E4 constantly when I was at University and I was sure I had seen them all multiple times.
Even weirder, seasons 2 - 4 were the ones my sister had (on VHS :hee: ) in our teens and she was always putting those tapes on, so those seasons are the ones I've seen like 4, 5 times...
... And yet here's this episode, right in the middle of season 3, immediately following the "big break up" episode, and I had never seen it.
AND I always thought it was weird that Rachel and Ross just went straight to sort of hanging around together immediately after breaking up, I've thought for years "wouldn't they avoid each other at least for a while?".
This is a time of revelation.

Yeah E4 did the same with How I Met Your Mother. Most of their best jokes were censored out it was so bad.

It's especially bad when it makes people seem to say things for no reason - it'd be better if they cut out the whole joke, rather than just the punchline, and leaving in contextless lines.

There's one that always really stood out, where (I think) Monica says something that isn't funny in itself, and then Chandler says "Yooouuuu bitch." and the audience laughter goes full swing...
Except E4 cut out the Chandler part, so it's just Monica saying something random and then the crazy laughter that makes absolutely no sense .
[edit] Oh and the same with the one with Joey's stalker when they all pretend he's Drake, and Chandler says "And you left the toilet seat up... you BASTARD!!"before he throws his glass of water in his face - the humour obviously being in how over the top it is... 'cept on E4 it's just "And you left the toilet seat up [cut]"

It's the same with The One with the Free Porn. I never knew that episode existed until after the show moved to Comedy Central. I don't think E4 aired it because pre-watershed.

I'm sure they did air it but it's probably one of the episodes that was cut to shreds on E4... some episodes suffered much more than others (for obvious reasons, I guess).

There were a few 'bastards' as well that were always cut over here... I think it's less offensive in the US, or more acceptable on TV.

I watched it first when it was repeated on Sky One at tea-time, and I don't think they edited it. But, apparently Channel 4 were always editing it for that time-slot.
