It's a bit of a stretch, they sound kind of similar in a way but not enough to claim copyright infringement, I think.

They're really, really similar but apparently Radiohead was originally sued by someone else fot that same song and they had to pay out so I'm not sure how all this works now when they technically copied that song in the first place :think:

On the one hand it sounds exactly the same as Creep during the verses - same chord progression, same vocal melody.
On the other, Creep sounds like 'The Air That I Breathe' so it seems a little rich.

That's what I find strange about it too! Surely if they won she'd have to pay The Hollies :laugh:

Bryan May can be a bit litigious too - he sued Blondie for rhyming "face" with "place", and someone else, Pink I think, for using the phrase "another one bits the dust" in a song.

The chord progression in the verses is similar, but not worth a bloody lawsuit.
