Just had this article Rachel wrote brought to my attention

This 'you misgendered me' crap must really really grate with Rachel. I didn't actually know Rachel was a journalist, thought she was just Boris' sister D:

just wish she didn't write in the daily fail, her knowledge and expertise would be much more preferred in an educated broadsheet such as the Telegraph or Guardian

Agreed. Fantastic standard of Journalism in the Telegraph, I even prefer it to the Indy these days...

I mean, this story seems like a very specific set of circumstances... I think there's a difference between India having an issue with misgendering and this scenario, where the problem seems to be that the person involved is only being referred to by their current gender and Rachel thinks that it's getting in the way of accurate journalism
