View Full Version : Anyone else loving Andrew?!
Vicky.
08-01-2018, 10:01 PM
I am surprised. I have gone from not really thinking anything of him to absolutely loving him.
Finally someone has snapped with Indias bull****.
I do not think Andrew actually sees India as a woman either, given the 'dickhead' prick' thing at the end, those are just not usual insults for a woman.
Mind it would be hard to see India as a woman anyway given all they talk about is transition, being a man and mememememememememe
India completely cut off Andrew when he was talking about being camp..India has no interest at all in anything but themselves. Stupid self-centered prick.
Hope the others follow suit and just start ignoring it and walking off.

I also think Shane knew exactly what he was doing in putting Andrew in drag to piss off India. Sly. I love him too :D

He's one of my favourites. So glad that he isn't taking India bull****. She's an attention seeker.
She has been pictured with drag queens at Pride events. The same events she said she didn't go to and she didn't look scared :suspect:

I don't :worry: I don't know why I just get the feeling he's really disingenuous and very aware of the public vote (and I also find him kind of bland).

My favourite so far (although I expected him to be because I loved him on TA.)
He's great. All the right ingredients for a housemate, not afraid to speak his mind (but does it without ever getting personal or offensive), funny, charismatic and charming. The list could go on and on TBH but his friendship with Courtney if it continues I believe could be the greatest relationship we've ever seen on the show.

He was in the right during the India argument though ^^

This is what I thought of him before tonight. Especially with him going on yesterday about how everyone is acting nice to not leave first. Seems he has dropped the nice act now...I prefer honest Andrew tbh

I don't know because I can't find a single bad word to say about him but at the same time I just feel like I can't enjoy him

Amazing
sorry, i think he is playing a role. The only point he reverted was when he got angry and basically called India a man, both by the aggression in his voice and the dickhead comment
Jason.

A smidgen overrated.
Didn't hate him as much as everyone else did during The Apprentice, but don't love him as much as everyone else does now.

Do you see her as a woman vicky? Cause calling a woman a prick aint normal.
it really isn't, his whole demeanor at the end was the way you would confront a man, if he did that to any other woman in the house the forum would have been in meltdown

Rachel, Daniel, Ginuwine and John were all involved in that same argument, lol, saying "you can't say that" re: India labelling 'the guys' as "not seeing her as a woman". I hardly think storming out of the room makes Andrew the better person of that scene?
Malika, Ann and Maggie in the bedroom as well, saying she's being a hypocrite. (This admittedly wasn't 'to India' though)

He's a knock off James Hill, both on The Apprentice and on CBB.
He played the same role on The Apprentice as James (albeit a watered down version) and I can't help but feel his friendship with Shane is forced (on his part) and an imitation of Jaustin.

Honestly, no. I know India 'identifies' as a woman whatever that means, but to me India is a male person. Has had surgery to resemble a woman due to sex dysphoria, but not the same as a woman.
I also do call women pricks sometimes, not often. Though prick and dickhead tend to be insults for men.

I do like him, and he was right in his explaining of why he dressed up (and the example of him in a working-mens' club was an interesting one), I'm just reluctant to sign the series off straight away with an incredibly obvious winner

I didn't find him a dick at all on The Apprentice either, he was a bit 'laddish' but he was never horrible or anything. Just slightly immature compared to some of the other candidates but he was ****ing vilified for on it on here and I couldn't for the life of me understand why.
He was actually my favourite on TA too (and no not just because of looks!) he was really entertaining, and not much different to how he is being on here at all.

Thanks....seeing as we are being honest i am certain she has now become a gay man trapped in a womans body...
The dalek bollox was used to mask her bitterness of actually NOT being able to climax anymore thus breeding her bitterness and resentment..
Im probably wrong but i think that is her (as an individual) problem.

Don't understand why offensive names have to be gender specific. I call girls pricks if they are. Maybe its more of a northern thing, prick and tit are my go to words for people being... well pricks and tits. Nothing gender specific or transphobic, act like a prick, ill call you one:shrug:

I have to agree Jamie89....he is extremely immature. He is trying too hard to fit in and although I understood his point about getting in touch with his feminine side...it was a bit cringeworthy to listen to.
He has been watching the show...he knows there is backlash for India...was this his way of creating conflict with her? (although it doesn't take much)...and hence getting support...
Is that why everyone is loving him tonight?

I didn't call India it? I use them/their (or Indias name) intentionally so I don't slip up and say he instead of she like Andy just did. As then people jump on it.
I am not accusing Andrew of transphobia either. It is not transphobic to acknowledge that a transwoman is male. Especially a transwoman who speaks of nothing else but the transition and their life as a male.
And honestly, 'transphobic' means **** all to me anymore. Believing in biology is transphobic apparently. I have had rape and death threats on twitter over **** like this, so an accusation on here is really nothing. No offense :p

Tbf it was mainly when Amanda called her it, she spoke to Ann and said she understood it was a mistake. But after constant mis-gendering she played up to the victim role.
I still don't think Andrews behaviour has a trying to do with backlash that India has been getting. I'm talking more about backlash from the public rather than the housemates when I said Andrew entered after the backlash.

Are you aware of whats going on at the moment with the GRA? This is nothing to do with big brother but its why I have an issue with anyone essentially being able to 'identify' their way into womanhood. I feel its all extremely damging to the rights of women and I think women should be able to basically have penis free spaces and men vagina free spaces. The law is about to be changed to say 'gender identity' overrides sex. Which is ****ing wrong and I am pushing back against it like hell. Yes I understand that India has no penis and I would have no issue with India using for example the womens changing room...but its literally anyone who says they are a woman in their head at the moment. There are currently male rapists with penises in female prisons, thats how bad it is. Very offtopic but trying to explain my issue with 'trans' as it is today. Also, possibly relevant, I have NO gender identity at all. I don't 'feel like a woman', I am a woman because..biology.
I have no issues using prefered pronouns as such, but given my posts in the serious debates forum I figured if I use she and slip up and say he, people will jump on it to say I am bigotted. Using them/they is gender neutral...and also it makes me think a bit more before pressing post.
And I really really do not think it is transphobic to say a transwoman is a transwoman, not a woman. Or that you would not shag a transwoman as they are male.

When Ann slipped up...she apologised and India seemed to accept it. Later in the evening when Ann was washing up, India went up to her in the kitchen and told Ann not to feel bad about it...it had all been discussed but India felt the need to highlight it AGAIN. The rest is history...
The public were backlashing on her by day 3 when Amanda and Rachel made the same mistake and India found her storyline...
It was all over this forum and Twitter etc....so please don't tell me the boys had no idea as they all said they had been watching.
But never mind...perhaps we will agree to disagree :wavey:

I don't believe woman is simply an identity in ones head (I dont have a gender identity at all..do I not exist?!) I believe its a biological reality. This is not something for a BB thread tbh. Might make something in SD later, or bump one of my other threads about it.

How does someone who has no choice to live their life as a female or be eternally unhappy affect you? ...because you were lucky enough to be born into a body you feel comfortable in?
Also you're flippant about being female in one post stating its just about having a penis or vagina then you jump on the feminism bandwagon.....you're the definition of India!
God bless you and your erosion lol.

Absolutely agree with you 110% I loath India now and am loving Andrew, who wouldn't?!
Anyway, sick to death of India's tantrums and hissy fits and just hope she's gone on Friday - and good riddance to her and her fake journey.

Being female or male IS all about biology. How would you define it?
It affects me as laws are about to be changed to allow literally anyone to just say they are the opposite sex and 'be' that. As I said, we already have male rapists in female prisons, how do you feel about that?

No I agree that you feel uncomfortable with it but you seem to be uninformed and a lot brain washed which I didn't excpect from a member of tibb staff.
Imagine your child grows up to be transgender for instance and other women then automatically say NO just incase they may rape them....I mean nothing is more attractive to a trans woman than going into the ladies to see them taking a ****.
Youre off topic on your own thread...it's apparently supposed to be about you liking Andrew yet your pushing your beliefs on others.
You honestly sound like a nazi and don't understand it's about a persons MIND (look up the charity) and not sex.

The worst cringe apology grovel was Amanda when she kept saying "sorry" to that ungrateful twat over and over again a billion Times  .
And yeah I think Andrew will apology as well because he's scared he'll look "bad" , if Kim Woodbourn was there she'd call him a CHICKEN LIVER :hehe: .
If anything I'd demand an apology from India and then I'd dismiss it in a frosty way by saying

I can’t remember exactly what he said but I don’t think it was anything to do with lad chat or banter. He said he was camp, but that doesn’t mean he can’t be a lad. Most lads these days are and very metrosexual

I have literally never changed my personality completely based on which mates/people I am with. Its news to me that this is apparently common

i could imagine people toning things down for polite company, but to me that means Andrew is most comfortable with the "banter"

It doesn’t have to be mates. If you met he queen, would you be Vicky on a night out? If you were at a job interview would you be the same as Vicky with her kids.
I know these are extreme cases but people do change slightly on how they perceive others.

I don't either.
I am slightly quiter around non friends and watch my language with adults but as a rule I am my usual self in social situations

Well I disagree. You probably just don’t realise you change slightly.
Yes, I know you better than you know yourself before you say anything :hee:

Just shoved a bit of money on him to win. Can't believe how much more likeable he's coming across than he did on the Apprentice.

And job interview/mummy...I don't think a potential boss would particularly enjoy me chasing them round the room pretending to be the long armed ticklemonster tbh.
I do get where you are coming from, but I just cannot believe its common to change your personality competely based on who you are with. And the extreme examples are pretty moot as he is with groups of mates, who he is living with.

But he is changing totally! LIke literally a different person with the 'lads' and with anyone else. He is polar opposite when with Jonny and Daniel as he is with Courtney (I know they all try to watch themselves around Ann)

Because lad banter. I wouldn’t say he was completely different with Courtney, in the pool they were throwing banter about pissing etc.
Banter. I know you hate the world but it’s all just banter :p hahah

Totally. If I were in that house and they said they were going to bring in a snake, I'd be out of the room like a shot and probably try to escape the house as well.
I hope you are strong because I would be jumping on your back to go with you.:hehe:
