I don't know none of them seem very argumentative, Daniel maybe? The nice guy stuff seems quite fake to me

Very fake ,but I cannot think of anyone who will rattle their cage this year

Unless they're planning on sending a late entry in? I hope they don't though
i think Wayne and Rachel are both capable of getting in to arguments and Malika too. It's just a matter of time. Also, didn't Anne say something in her article yesterday that the housemates had been promised it wouldn't be a loud one this year? I think thats why she accepted it

Yes! So, as irritating and obnoxious as I find India, I hope she stays.

However "normal" people do get on with others around them. All the fake arguments that we have seen in recent series are so obviously put on for the camera they mean nothing and are just terribly boring, to me anyway. Whats wrong with civilised disagreement

I'm a big fan of civilised disagreement. But nothing beats a narky cat fight.

I think there are to many "peace makers" in there for any actual fireworks to be going off big time, as has happened in previous series.

I can see Amanda getting grumpy with some people, Wayne too... but yeah there's not really a reliable source of conflict and I do wonder if getting them all off on the same foot with all of these debates has diffused potential arguments  But there's still time.

I'm still catching up on the episodes but just wanted to say you clocked it Niamh. I personally never heard of him before but his whole nice schtick seems really forced-you can see him hesitate a lot before he says anything.
Maybe its the cynic in me but this seems more of an attempt for a comeback if anything (yeah I know a few celebs go on here for a comeback but its so obvious with him its more about making himself look good then be entertaining imo)
Hope you had a great new year Niamh :cheer2::dance:
The series hasn't been cast with arguments in mind I don't think. Debates yes and clash of cultures and values but not 'arguments' as such. The series will be very low-key if India is the first evicted in my opinion.

Hmm not sure. I think Daniel probably has some controversy in him but might be too afraid of killing off his career for good.
I could see possibly more friction from Ann.

Good point. I think daniel might accidently cause an argument where as ann seems to be looking for one lol
(Hope you had a great news years too Jaxie )

Thank you, and you too! :wavey:
Ann is very intelligent but is also quite typical of her generation in some views. She reminds me a bit of my nan in regard attitude and not liking swearing. However she can always put across a fair explanation for her views and she does have a sense of humour.
I think it's quite cute how all the guys keep saying 'sorry Ann' for swearing. It shows a level of respect towards her as an elderly but intelligent person and that's nice to see in this day and age.

I dread India not going on Friday.
Think how smug she will be when she thinks she is popular with the public.
So, I think she will stay true to her threat of causing drama which will kick things off.

Honestly, without India I don't think there's a big enough catalyst for drama in there. She is the antagonist, the rest of them all seem to get along. Hence why I hope she stays.
I'm enjoying and embracing the calmer feel to this series but you always need a villain.

They need to do the task where they ask housemates questions like who is the most manipulative? Who is the biggest game player?
Those tasks always stir up drama

Very rarely. It's usually all just compliments disguised as insults and then everyone hugging it out afterwards.

Ann just makes me wonder-she complains about CBB but surely shes seen it before? I mean its great the housemates apologise but surely she knew what she was in for?!

I think it's the opposite tbh. Right now it's just kinda India vs. the house and she just projects any negative energy onto herself (and gets targeted by the house for the most part within debates, noms etc.). Once India goes, people will start opening their eyes to others and they will start annoying each other.

1 person doesn't carry a show with a cast of 16, India has so far spoiled this series and i for one will be glad to see the back of her if she goes tonight
