She doesn't let anyone peer pressure her into anything, doesn't force herself to like stuff she doesn't like, doesn't take people's cr*p and is 100% transparent about her thoughts...

It's so hilarious watching people p*ssy foot around each other or try to be crafty about their opinion and she's just like "Nah, aint havin' none of that". Completely confident in herself and doesn't feel the need to comform to other people's wishes just to be "liked"...

Honestly, this is why I love the elderly.

Tonight i liked her again. She's better when she relaxes and is just herself.

I really like her but she is definitley making the housemates feel they need to tip toe about and as controvercial as she is has probably hindered the housemates really letting themselves go.

I'm 50/50 on her but I think if she went then the house would really let go....she's been quite funny but this is all she is going to offer I think.

She is who she is...she is honest and forthright. Older people don't suffer fools gladly. You reach an age in your life when you have experienced so much that you can spot a prat a mile away...you don't need people to like you because you know you have a core group of family and friends who love you for who you are and you are comfortable in your own skin, who you are and your opinions. Having said that, she listens to others but won't be swayed.
I love her relationship with Rachel..they talk and bicker but accept each other for who they are.

...you see that's why they are quite a comedy act. Rachel knows she's a bit grumpy ( far less than Ann though IMO )... Rachel is a bit like me, she knows she has faults but doesn't like admitting it...then when she admits to it, you don't like anyone to emphasise the point ..then you get defensive again.

I think this particular house would die very quickly without her.

If they feel the need to tip toe that's not bc of Ann. She is pretty upfront on what she believes and who she is. It's not like she is forcing her opinion onto other people (unlike some other HM's that are/were in the house)... she just says what's on her mind and it's as simple as that.

Basically, she doesn't need anyone's permission to be a part of the group. Others will wait until they are brought in or they will find ways to try to insert themselves into situations (India), and what I like about her is she just is... it's not put on. I'm glad we have such a confident older female in there to set a good example for the others in especially this kind of series... you don't have to be self-conscious of yourself around others or apologize for (or like India, abuse) your background to grab ratings or to get people to accept you... you just have to be a decent human being and it's that simple.

I love her but I'm surprised she hasn't had more rows.
