Was BB11 the downfall of BBUK?

I’ve been thinking and a lot of what C5 have done with Big Brother could be based on how C4 left it.

For example, BB11 did not have a closed off entrance, which none of C5 BBS have had. In BB11 the housemates had the tacky name badges on launch which now all C5 series have. And I feel the C4 began breaking the outside contact rule nearer the end of their BB’s which maybe made C5 think it’s more acceptable?

I dunno just some thoughts, what do you guys think?

Definitely. The editing style and the feel of the show is very comparable with BB11.

BB11 also started the music in the background. Not to the ridiculous level it's at these days when we'll have Itunes top 10 playing while someone is washing their hair, but certainly during the tasks. Having said that, Channel 5 didn't have to keep doing it.

What many don't consider is that bb went to channel 5 but the production team went too
But in life new concepts don't always work.

But it went from a reality prigram to a game show.
