It was a good speech from Ann tonight about when is the right time to break the rules.
She mentioned the suffragettes who broke the law to in order to help Women's rights 100 years ago,
Rosa Parks who broke the law by sitting on the 'white people only' side of the bus in order to to help Black/equal civil rights,
And William Wilberforce the English politician who campaigned for decades and finally caused slavery to be made illegal for the first time in world history.
People talk a lot about equal rights, especially on Big Brother, so it's good to have someone like Ann on the show who knows about these important people from history and can maybe educate some viewers.
Freedom and equal rights all over the world today owe so much to the people she mentioned.

Yes it was nice to hear her thoughts and she was so right.
I think Ann has the strength of personality and conviction to have been on an equal footing with those mentioned. It needs that inner strength to be the one that breaks down barriers

Totally agree, its a shame to think that a majority of the audience (I think) wont have a clue who any of those people are

Yeah true i worry about that.
Many people today talk a lot about equality but don't know the history of it, of all those from the past who paved the way for us today.
Modern culture is a bit of a selfish bubble sometimes, so it's good to hear Ann taking it up a gear tonight into something more meaningful.
Makes a change from the usual BB conversations, all the 'what i did in Ibiza' gross-out stories !

When Ann went in I really didnt like her. I have never really warmed to her to date and reckoned I wouldnt either in the BB house. When Andrew went in I said oh good, here is the eye candy and I liked him on the apprentice even though at times he really was dim. WHAT A TURNAROUND. Now I quite like Anne and I CANNOT STAND ANDREW
