View Full Version : Shane Jenek Has he been suckered in...?

I really liked Shane/Courtney at first. Dealt with India in a very mature way and handled debates with Ann in a very mature way. However, his friendship with the moronic Andrew has seen him lose credibility. He has listened to the bitching and stayed silent and IMO has been completely sucked in by Andrew and gone very quiet. It's like he doesn't want to offend Andrew and lose the friendship they have...
Really gone off him unfortunately...

I still like him but he has slowly become Andrews sidekick which is a real shame because he was great in the first few days/week

he could have won this series, and now he is in danger of flopping. I can't be bothered with him now.

Maybe....he could have won this if he hadn't attached himself to the self absorbed twat. He dealt with one very well but he has been drawn into the shadow of the other.

Not sure about this.
He was my top 3, but I am cooling down slightly, but he could still redeem himself.

I can't see him winning now, but I also can't see Ann or Andrew winning...so who the **** knows what's gonna happen :joker:

He's literally Andrew's bitch nothing else :bored: , he's a fence sitter gliding to the final and he'll still win and his sex crush Andrew will finish second  .

So do i. And it seems Andrew isn't the only one bitching in there. He's in god company. Ann, Amanda, Malika, Rachel have all done it! :joker:

I think Courtney will still win, because of the fanbase.

I think it's more that Courtney is sinking into the background and Andrew is getting more screen time. Andrew is just Andrew and Courtney does seem like someone who wants everyone to get along. We're also seeing "costumeless" Courtney... I think Shane feels more assertive as Courtney. Especially in the house

I think they both get quite a lot of screentime. Both good housemates, even though they're different. They hang out, because they get very well.

As much as I love him and Andrew part of me hopes that Andrew doesn't win the task and goes tomorrow because it would be better for Shane if Andrew wasn't there.

Because at the moment people dislike him because he is hanging out with Andrew and I want him to be the winner this year

It's a shame he's chosen to be a side kick, he could have (and was) the star

I find it very frustrating when people say they've gone off someone because of their friends. Shane is no pushover and make a his own decisions. He's still the same person, weather he hangs out with Andrew or not.

It was good to see his interactions with Wayne and Jess in the bathroom yesterday. We just need to see more of him when he is away from Andrew.

Shane hangs out with everyone. But the others are usually in bed by 10. And only the lads stay up. And he usually stays up quite late.

I haven't gone off him because of his friends, I've gone off him because he's coming across differently to how he was at the start because of his friend Andrew

Yes I think you're right and we just don't get shown so much of him hanging out with everyone else. I agree he is his own person and nobody's sidekick.

I don't care who he's friends with, but I just find him annoying, when he tries to be funny in tasks and stuff

Really wow I would never of known   .

BB should temporarily put in a good-looking single guy with 6pac and toned and let's see how quickly shortney ditches Andrew .

I love a bit of bitching....but that wasn't my point. My point was Shane has disappeared into Andrews shadow. He is quite opinionated but now he just seem to sit there listening to Andrew and gazing in his eyes.

Andrew would probably get physically aggressive and break the furniture in the house. He can't bare rejection he's a sore loser !! :hee:.

If a hot good looking male model entered the house, Andrew would be jealous and he'd get stroppy with Courtney/Shane J  .

I've seen little change in him from the start.

I still find him entertaining, Ann and Shane J have been my top 2 for a while now.
That hasn't altered at all.

The house does affect how people are at times,I see nothing offensive in him and really enjoy his comments/actions as a housemate.

I think he is still opinionated but he is very subtle and does it more in a reasoning way where as Andrew is not.

Been the case since day 1 really. It's why I find it strange when Andrew and Daniel are always criticised for what they say, but everyone loves sweet ol' Courtney who chats crap with them outside all the time too.

I don't think he's that different to how he was at the start really, seems like his popularity is mainly falling because Andrew is now quite widely disliked whereas he was pretty popular in the first few days

Santa's NaughtiNess

Andrew is still third on tellymix poll and doing well at the bookies, 3rd favourite housemate in here. While his popularity has taken a knock, i think he's still doing well. For now.

Courtney/Shane J would drop Andrew like a bag of rubbish if a good looking single guy was thrown into the house :idc: .

Courtney/Shane J would be all over the New guy like a rash and Andrew would be jealous AF and turn nasty on Courtney  .

He seems quick to distance himself from whatever bitching there is: in the examples with Ann he's often the first one to say "but I like her" and has probably had the most rational and level-headed debates with Ann in there out of everyone, and with Jess he didn't really take part and has often said stuff like "have you talked about this with her?" and "I'm from Australia so idk her" whenever Andrew/Jonny bring her up.

Like others have said, he's still pretty much the same person but has just surrounded himself with the only ones that stay up late and drink & smoke (which is, pretty much, what a drag queen does )

I agree. I get the feeling that he doesn't like bitching. He will listen to it, but he looks bored by it usually

I think Shane J will see the light of day and start calling Andrew out on some of his crap and pull a U-turn.
He’s not daft. He’ll realise he’s backed the wrong horse.

He doesn't have to back anyone. He has enough of a fanbase to win the show.
