View Full Version : Andrew Brady Do you think he´s correct about Ann?

Calderyon

Meaning that Ann pressurizes the girls in a sense and is kind of weighing them down in a sense that the girls go by Ann´s rules in terms everything (behavior in the house, going to sleep early like Ann etc.) instead of being themselves. Mostly out of respect and wanting her approval.

What do you think?

I think some of the housemates definitely feel like she's controlling. But I also think they should tell her, because she would understand. She isn't nasty and wouldn't want to upset anyone on purpose.

No. The housemates have free minds of their own. They respect her but if they dont want to do what she asks or agree with her I am sure they wont do it. Andrew is just jealous that SHE is getting more attention from the young girls than HE IS the pillock

She doesnt like him because he tried it on with Malika but got knocked back then tried to get in with Jess. He doesnt like her because she isnt like she was on another reality show apparently.

Looks to me like all the girls have opinions and brains of their own.
If they decide to go to bed early it’s more than likely the better option of either that or sitting listening to Mr.Mememe drone on and on and on.
Andrew is quite pathetic if he isn’t getting fawned over, shame for him the house isn’t full of the normal bimbos this series.

Don't agree at all. These are all grown adults who are not timid in any way. It is more likely that Ann is being used as an excuse because otherwise they would have to say bluntly that they didnt want to be in the company of Andrew etc. If the girls really wanted to be involved with Andrew and his mates, they would be and Ann couldn't stop them

As soon as Jess was critical of Andrew, you started criticizing her, cause for you Andrew can do no wrong.

As for the statement above, i disagree it fully.

I'm glad Andrew hasn't fallen at her feet. She thinks all men will fancy he because she's a glamour girl.

She really hasn't given that impression at all, if that were the case she wouldn't be hanging around the oldies so much. She hasn't used the fact that she's a glamour girl "to her advantage with the men either" she's not dressed provocatively etc etc so that statement is way off and pulled out of thin air tbh

Sorry Van you couldnt be more wrong. She may not have been the most vocal in the house but she has converted so many people including me to the idea that maybe just maybe there are glamour models out there who can go into big brother and not flash their tits and bums at every opportunity, CONSTANTLY hog mirrors and trowel on coat after coat of makeup and NOT start jumping into bed with the only single guys. Andrew is tarring Jess with the brush that she should be the ultimate glamour model in there and put it about because he is BITTER to the core and knows that if he tried anything with her he would get nowhere. In the early days the lads were all saying she was fit and they would love to get with her. I am delighted to see Jess'es popularity on here specially in housemate rankings. Its so different to how other glamour models have been perceived down through the years

Andrew wants control, but has run into a smarter person whom he can't control and he doesn't like it.

Doesn't he want to control that everyone should stay up late? He's decided that if Ann wasn't there, that all the girls will stay up late with him.

But the ladies are tucked up in bed early, just so that Ann can sleep. I think everyone should go to bed when they want. They should turn off the light when they want.

They are all grown women. I would suggest if Ann makes them self-conscious about their behaviour, perhaps they know that their behaviour is questionable?

Ann has more character and entertainment value than most of the females in there. Some of them I can hardly recall.

Ann is the epitome of just being honest/speaking her mind, I hate hate hate when every year a HMs nasty and rude behaviour is passed off with that excuse. What Ann does is an actual example of that, she doesn't say things to upset people and she doesn't insult people, she just speaks her mind when she needs to and I will add I don't even like alot of her opinions but they're hers and she's not hurting anyone by having them or stopping anyone else from having their own

My thoughts too. I think he wants to be the center of things in general and even though Ann probably does have a certain level of influence over some hm's, I don't think Andrews problem is that in itself or that he's concerned for their independence, it's that he wants to have that influence instead. He's not really looking out for the other girls he's just jealous of Ann imo. And tbh Ann's influence doesn't really stretch that far anyway, it's mostly just people being respectful towards a 70 year old woman.

I couldn't agree more. She actually speaks her mind and when she does she engages the clutch of tact. I've seen her questioned about her opinions by people ready for a fight, but once she explains herself, and that it's her own, well thought-through opinion... there's not much they can counter with.

It was past 1am and there was a clip on bots where all the other women from the room were telling Ann well done for asking Ashley to go to bed.

On that occasion I think they were all waiting for the lights off, though typically it's Ann who gets the 'blame'.
