I watched the premiere, and I was gagged at the elimination result. And since All-Stars 3 has the same elimination rules as last season, the ruveal of the ru-turns to the eliminated queens will have a bit of "A Handmaid's Tale" theme to it; with Chad and Alaska appearing in the werkroom (in their "A Handmaid's Tale" servant outfits from the opening VT) behind the eliminated queen, and it cuts to the "To Be Continued" screen before Chad and Alaska get the eliminated queen.

Loved that ending too, Josiah - I hope there's something a little different to AS2's 'RuVenge' because otherwise this series seems TOO similar to AS2... I know AS2 was perfect but there have to be some differences.

Then again I can't see them doing a partnered stand-up comedy challenge with Trixie and Shangela being the only two who are proficient in that field so maybe it'll be a makeover instead? :shrug:

I'm a bit annoyed with the results... Milk not being in the bottom was a choice and whilst I 100% get Dela's decision... damn bitch can't you just keep the dramatic one a little longer? :(

More spoilers than the first episode:
Well, speculation really:

I got the impression from promo tours and interviews with the queens that Chi Chi was super low-energy a lot of the time and I thus assumed she would be the first to go home... and now seeing that she was the worst of the night, I really expected it :laugh: but with the next challenge being some kind of lipsync thing, she should surely nail that? So not sure what's wrong with her in the press.

Aja did amazing, Bebe Kennedy and Shangie too... liked Trixie's song and Thorgy was alright. A little too many queens of similar talents though with the Shangela "lipsync to a recorded track" mould.

OH ONE THING THAT WAS OUTSTANDING ABOUT THIS EPISODE: THE ****ING LIPSYNC!!!! OH MY GOD BEN :worship: That may go down as one of my top ten LSFYLs of all time <333333333

I avoided all spoilers... So I knew nothing about who was making an entrance... And I was mostly underwhelmed at first.... BUT!! By the time BeBe walked in I was sold

What a good seasons this has the potential to be :love:
I wanted Chi Chi gone first.. I'll admit, but I think Bendela made the right choice for her.... And boy did she earn that choice with that lip sync :worship:. Good for you girl :clap1:

Firsy of all, Kennedy was ROBBED of a place in that top 3, and I would argue top 2 she done so good - Shangela should have been safe.

Pretty pleased with the premiere, although I’m still not sold on the cast as a whole.

The talent show was MUCH better than last series though, which is quite surprising when AS2 had queens of much higher calibre than AS3 has. Kennedy should’ve been top two with Aja though, I didn’t find DeLa’s strip tease that amusing? :shrug: (although I suppose we wouldn’t have had THAT lip sync from her had she not been top two)

Milk should’ve been B2 an absolute ****ing farce (and Trixie and Thorgy were boring as **** sorry not sorry). Morgan didn’t deserve to go so early :( rip to a legend.

Ugh, an annoying result especially since the reason for it was such bull****. I love Chi Chi but she should have gone home because she failed on both the performance and runway aspects on the challenge. Still, the hope of a Chi Chi/Kennedy lipsync lives on I guess :clap1:.

I don't really understand how Milk wasn't in the bottom, well, I do since it's Milk so... He needs to go asap tbh.

While her lipsync was good, there's no way I'd have put Ben in the Top 2. She was just safe to me tbh. Aja deserved to be there though, I've been lowkey kind of stanning her since I've started to read the Rupaul Reddit regularly and you can just see how far she's come, plus she's hilarious.

Thorgy was just fine, she did something unique but she kind of got swallowed up.

Kennedy, Bebe and Shangela were all fire tbh.

Not too keen on the queens eliminating each other, was kind of hoping they'd drop that, but FAR better than the teams of two twist from as1. However, really hoping the Ruvenge isn't the same as as2... I liked it in as2 but not here for it a second time around.

I've read a spoiler that, as in the handmaids tail theme, that Bebe is like a spy for Rupaul and can't actually win, hoping this is kind of true, as I actually think there are stronger queens..

So next week's main challange looks to be similar to the Herstory of the world lip sync thing for AS 2 except they'll be preforming as Divas like Mariah Carey, Dolly Partom etc.
Idk how the parts are given out yet but since they'll need a specific outfit for who they get I'm gonna assume they were just given them by the producers so they can again pick who to give the good parts and the not so good parts to. Like last season they laughed more at the lines people had as opposed to how they preformed them (bar Alaska and Alyssa) so it wasn't really THAT fair.
Since this is also technically an impersonation task idk if that'll mean Snatcj Game will be pushed back or they'll do 2 in a row

They really need to drop these types of challenges since they make it too obvious that it's rigged or at least base the critiques on how much they embodied the character since they don't have a choice regarding choreography and such.

Thorgy was done dirty, she portrayed Stevie well and she really should not have been in the bottom 2, the critique she got was stupid and nitpicky as well. Kennedy was also done dirty because of the difference in choreography but I can understand why she was in the bottom since she didn't actually lipsync for half of the performance.

Chi Chi being in the bottom 3 at all was a joke, her runway look wasn't great but she was one of the best in the challenge. Milk being safe again is pretty ridiculous as well, his runway was boring and didn't even look anything like his original look and he didn't look like or embody Celine Dion at all, I wouldn't have known who the **** he was meant to be if I wasn't told. The fact that he's been the worst in both challenges yet has been made safe is really souring this season. He's not a very good villain and he's only there because of how he looks out of drag.

The top 3 were annoying, not because they were bad but because anyone would have won with those roles, it's the role that decides the challenge not the queens themselves.

Bottom - Bebe (the favouritism is real. If "being Diana Ross" is just standing there in a gown then... go crown Kandy Ho?) and Milk (I sort-of enjoyed the Celine segment but she looked terrible in both that and the runway)

And I cannot with the editing. You can show Thorgy talking about Bob for five more hours, girl, it's still not gonna excuse the fact you wrote her a terrible part and expected her to be anything other than bottom with it. I know everyone went MENTAL over the Alaska favouritism in AS2 but right now it seems AS3 is just a game for Shangela, Trixie and Ben, with some last minute additions.

At the very least, if you're going to write heavily favourable portions of a group challenge - ie. the Mariah Carey or Julie Andrews parts - have the queens compete for parts in a mini challenge. There's absolutely no justification for RuPaul and Todrick being allowed to get away with doling them out to their choices.

And finally: TODRICK HALL ****ING SUCKS. I never thought I'd say this but bring back Lucian Piane! The difference between Lucian [Shady Queens, Bitch Perfect, Herstory of the World] and Todrick [Kardashian, Divas] is palpable and both of Todrick's even ended in the same ****ing notes :joker: I'm sick of this Disney-obsessed repetitive ****** ruining this god-damn show! And I'm sick of Carson with his crap, way-off-the-mark critiques as well! "Oh you did really well Chi Chi but you wore a coat I didn't like so you should be in the bottom". YOU SHOULD'VE DIED IN 2004.

Ugh, this was such a good episode, the task was great for the most parts as were the runways and I agree with the Top 2 and the Bottom 3 but I'm glad Chi Chi was safe (Aja was never at risk, lbr).

I'm so glad Milk's gone, she wasn't even a good villain, she was trying too hard and her delusion was just sad.

I'mma need Ben to just be safe next week and for Chi Chi and Kennedy to take the top 2 so we can have them lipsync at some point before Chi Chi is inevitably sent home :sad:

Well from the first 5 minutes it's fairly clear that ChiChi and Trixie are either going to win or go home, and Trixie saying anything could happen at any time makes my think it'll be foreshadowing a shock elimiantion this week, and I think ChiChi is gonna win

I've seen Trixie's Ru on Unhhhh a LOT but and whilst it's funny, I also wonder how many takes they have to do before she gets one of the good jokes out... so I half-think it could be a carcrash, and not in an entertaining Jessica Wild way?

Bebe as Grace Jones is in the trailer so one would assume she's 'safe' since all trailer teasers have been so far (Trixie as Dolly, Kennedy's talent show)

I can kinda see Kennedy, Trixie and Aja as the bottoms since Kennedy's chosen someone called Phaedra from the Real Housewives of Atlanta who just... seems to be like Kennedy in personality? And apparently Aja's chosen Crystal Labeija from Paris is Burning and I just don't see that being funny.

Of course in AS2 we had a previous winner BOMB (Tatianna) and the winners were two who just finished "high" (Alaska/Katya) so it's possible the same could happen with Kennedy/Dela. I'm still bitter that Chi Chi was only 'safe' with her Eartha Kitt in s8 when Derrick and Kim were supposedly in the top :umm2:
Everyone else was just 'safe' - Aja, Shangela - the first time around in their Snatch Games (or didn't get one, obvs) so it's hard to call :shrug:

I really want Chi Chi to finish in the top just ONCE but not if it means Shangie/Kennedy going :oh:

That was so so amazing how they made you convinced that Shangela was gonna choose Trixie but ended up not.

Anyway the snatch game in its self was shockingly bad - maybe the worst ever. Only Ben and Shangela was "good" and even then neither gave a very memorable preformance.
The episode also felt very rushed didn't see the point in the whole Marc Jacobs bit.
Decent lipsync although the first 2 of the series were more worthy of a double win tbh.

That was probably the worst Snatch Game ever.

Only Ben, Aja (Best impression on Snatch Game ever?) and Shangie bought it although it was more Shangela in that performance than the person she was impersonating. Chi Chi was the rightful choice to go sadly.

The editing in this episode was also terrible, everything moved at the speed of light, I don't think I've ever seen such a quick Runway segment.

AS for the whole Trixie vs Shangela thing, I'm more on Trixie's side, Shangela's taking the Thorgy stuff way too seriously when it's all just her humour. I can't See Trixie getting to the top 3 unless they use this point as the start of a meteoric edit to the top.

With each episode I'm getting more and more convinced that the Bebe theory is true.

I agree with Dezzy that the more Bebe is safe the more convinced I am she's a mole - I'm also getting more and more convinced Ben is going to quit the more she wins because i still just can't see her winning the series and at this point she's done too well already not to win I heard or read somewhere she quits for Morgan tho so idk if that's in the comeback episode or maybe they're both in the bottom one week

As much as I hate to have seen Chi Chi get eliminated, I am happy that she will get a chance to come back; plus the way they did the 'don't turn around' bit with Ru's message and Chad and Alaska as the "hennymaids" was kind of amusing.
