Has anyone else watched this? It’s a comedy series on Netflix about a woman who wakes up (basically in heaven after dying) but she shouldn’t be there, I watched the first couple of eps last night and it was pretty funny

Why Jameela Jamil is there tho is anyone’s guess

I started this the other day and am about nine episodes into season one, so I won't be saying anything particularly helpful for a while

I started watching this in November, it's pretty good.

And although I found the inclusion of Jameela Jamil completely bizarre, I was pleasantly surprised that she's actually quite funny in this.

Keep your wig on too, as this show has more twists than an episode of Lost.

Impromptu ranking of my top five characters:

5) Eleanor's mum
4) Tahani, but only in the version where she and Eleanor are soul mates
3) Jason because he's trash and I want to marry him and that raises a lot of questions regarding my lack of self-worth
2) Janet: g.oddess, icon, mother
1) Mindy St. Claire (a middle-aged coke addict living in a constant state of eternal mediocrity who only shows up to annoy the other characters with her masturbation habits? Where the fork do I sign up?)

I love it. I liked it at first, was totally unsure about the twist at the end of S1, but they somehow pulled it together into an even better show . I'm not totally sure it was their original plan and I sort of suspect they ran out of ideas for the original concept and adapted to make it something else... but  it works :joker:.

Jason and Janet are objectively the best characters, no real need for discussion about that.

Was about to say Jason is the worst character, but I think it’s only because the actor is SO bad, he tries too hard to play the fool

Almost finished S2, IA that they seemed to lose the plot by throwing in the random Janet storyline, but I’m still enjoying it

Finished watching series 2 two weeks ago (it's not available in my country, but gladly I was in New York so I saved it all for offline mode). This show is forking brilliant. All the twists! I love the tone of the series, can't put a finger on what it is exactly, but it's fun to watch.

If they won't make series 3 available here anytime soon I'll be sending them Bad Janet! :fist:

A bit raging that the air dates are all over the place for the end of this season. Off for 3 weeks until one lonely episode 6th of December, then off again until the final three episodes at the end of January?

Assuming we get an S4 I think it's one to save up until the full season airs and watch it full season Netflix-style.

Yeah, I thought the Michael/Eleanor two-hander was great, but the seemingly endless series of episodes prior to that in which they would travel to somewhere new to try and save Jason's dad/Eleanor's mum/Tahani's great aunt's neighbour's cat was testing to say the least
