Do you do yours in the oven or Microwave or do you have your own method to share.

Short spell in the microwave...then into the oven. Crisp on the outside and guaranteed soft in the middle.

Can't stand them.
However it's a few minutes in the microwave and then finished off in the oven.

That's the right way but I do 'em in the microwave and they end up all wrinkled.:joker:

I always used to do them in the oven, like GiRtH says, it's worth the wait. However, I ticked 'other', because I got one of these for Christmas:

It sits on top of my wood burner, the spuds come out perfect with crispy skin.

Thats a nice gadget. Does it cook them quicker and where can I get one?

No, it takes ages... but they taste amazing. So good in fact, that I'm doing baked potatoes tonight, now you've got me thinking about them.

You can get them online, they're not expensive, £25 ish? You can get them for 4 spuds too.

Usually microwave, I don't know how to do them properly in the oven. :blush:Prick them with a fork all over then rub a bit of oil and then rub salt all over the spud for a crispy skin, some will insist on olive oil but vegetable oil is good to. Stick them in a oven on top heat and wait for an hour.

I struggle to get the skin crispy enough if I use foil. :pipe:
