Futurama, which used to be axed, will be returning this Christmas. According to Matt Groening, new episodes of this hit cartoon will start again after high demand.

Tis great.

It got cancelled by FOX as it wasn't getting viewers... reason? Same time slot as the last ever series of friends...

what do you expect?

so comedy central will be bringing it back which is minty...

Futurama is way better than The Simpsons iMatt. The new Simpsons episodes are just stupid. I don't mind the old episodes of The Simpsons but Futurama always keeps the same style.

I only like the Simpsons episodes that were made before 1996ish. The style of the new episodes is totally different. Futurama always seems to keep to the same style since in started in 1999. I hope this new series is just as good as the rest.

Meh, "The Simpsons" has really lost all it's original quality, and especially with competition from "Family Guy", it can't keep up with the old standards...

Family Guy is brilliant, but The Simpsons is just classic. I can't wait for the movie.

And the The Simpsons makes history on the 10th June by airing its 400th episode!

Any new Simpons be it the film or normal episodes are all crap!! I mean come on, we don't want another version of Family Guy (which in its self is crap as well). Simpsons was better before 1997 when it stuck to the original style!

Another version of family guy? Family Guy is another version of The Simpsons!

I was only saying that the original form of Simpsons was nothing like Family Guy. Family Guy has began rivalry and Simpons has gone more like Family Guy. I hate the Family Guy, so Simpsons with Family Guy's style makes me hate The Simpons. On the other hand Futurama has got a similar style to the original Simpsons (pre 1997/1996) so I now prefer Futurama to The Simpsons.

Already aired here, but I missed it since I was on a trip.

I was never a huge fan of Futurama, and I like the older Simpsons and Family Guy better.

I''m glad it's coming back on./

Don't worry - I won't be seeing it for ages anyway as I don't have Sky One :laugh2:

Only what's on Freeview.

Well Futurama is normally repeated on SKY THREE which is on my freeview, I'm not sure about yours. But it may be repeated later on in 2008 like January or February and also it would probably be staggered.
