Like Nadia in her return to the house, we got to see how fame changed her, and not for the better in attitude. She was a great girl and great BB character in BB3.

She did well for herself in her short life, from where she came from.

But I think in comparison to the awful people Jade was around, I can at least understand her problems at a base level even if she over-reacted quite a bit, and I don't think she's a legitimately nasty person, at least compared to Danielle, Jo, or Jack, considering how stricken and apologetic she was towards Shilpa about the whole thing long before any of the other three were.

Yes, Jade and Shilpa made up. She even went to the Indian show Big Boss in India. Sadly she found out was ill shortly after. :sad:

I actually think Jack is worse than all three, considering he wasn't apologetic at all whereas the other three at least had a shred of regret as to what they did whereas he sat back and continued to avoid Shilpa like the plague and was even a little annoyed at Jade for apologizing to her, meaning he's a full intentional supporter of racial ignorance, far more than the other three considering how they mended things with Shilpa towards the end. He was a **** to her.

Pretty much this. She did well to raise awareness of cervical cancer during her illness so I admired her for that. As a housemate and "celebrity" I wasn't a fan.

I thought Jo was the least offensive one of those involved.

Jade was aggressive and Danielle was the nicest to Shilpa's face, yet the worst behind her back. Jo was always just there.

I don't get the hate for Jade at all, it seems like her appearance in CBB5 overshadowed her BB3 appearance, where she was hillarious and a SCREAM. Sweet girl.

Don't forget that Jade was one of the reasons BB became really popular, this forum would have been dead, if she didn't go on BB.

I also don't think she was racist, just a lack of education, Jack, Jo and Danielle were the REAL monsters, and Jade got most of the hate because she was the most famous out of the four of them.

Her death really raised cervical cancer awareness, which is good.

Just don't get the hate for her, that's all.

Joe and Danielle were far worse. I actually watched her documentary a few months ago which showed her journey throughout the illness and I was sobbing :bawling: Only thing I resent her for is that she played a part in BB getting axed from ch4

Jade was a hate figure in bb3, saved by the editors stepping in, max Clifford did his magic to get her attention after the show, bb5 saw the real jade again, we had her illness rammed down our throats.

As others have pointed out though she was certainly the most aggressive towards Shilpa and just because others were as bad or worse, it doesn't absolve her of her part.

Found her overrated from her time on bb3 and really fake. Playing dumb and the viewers buy in to it really annoys me.

Thought she was a great housemate in BB3. She was awful towards Shilpa in CBB but I don't actually think she was racist which is what most of the criticism towards her was for and she did make amends with her.

I disagree, Jade like Nadia had grown up. Nadia stated in the eviction interview she wouldn't have been able to complete the ten weeks. Rewatching it Jade was completely different when she went in second time round, she was a mum, settled, had business ventures and in my opinion should of only made an appearance.

I don't even see jade's supposed racism as an issue so I was gutted when she died.

Her smile lit up our tv screens for years, how that can not be your defining image of her is beyond me.

she made racist uncomfortable comments but she wasn't as bad as the other three, was the most apologetic and least two faced compared to jo and Danielle which made for more uncomfortable viewing. Jade was just an idiot but there was no racial motivations from at least her part, I'm not even sure if I'd call it xenophobia (can't be said for the other perpetrators though, at the very least)

However this was 2007 and I think everyone involved should be able to move on as they probably aren't the same people now as they were back then and probably wouldn't make the same mistakes.
