Paul is thrilled to be joining the team again and can’t wait to get his teeth back into recreating the true essence of Big Brother

”We're going to have a discussion about it. I need to know, like I would with any commission, what are the plans for the future? How will it be creatively renewed? How is it still important to me?”

But WHATS a creative director, what input do they have on the show? Tasks, cast, etc?

I am cautiously optimistic BB19 will be decent but it's probably going to be too little too late. The advertising and promotion needs to be INCREDIBLE to give it any sort of springboard this year. If they make a huge noise, and I mean huge in a way that gets to people who stopped watching it, about how it's going back to it's roots, and actually stick with their convictions, then it might stand a chance of getting renewed.

Idk if they’re just putting extra effort into this series bc it’s the last one obvs but still the fact it launches in June but they’re planning it in January just feels so C4 like I would’ve thought C5 planned it an hour or so before launch

I bet C5 love you, I'm sure you believe all these stupid rumours every year.

They made a big fuss out of BB17, huge promises and promoted it a lot and it managed to bounce back up from the lows of BB16! Even though they didn’t fulfil the promises very much, it made the series popular

They really could make BB19 do just as well as CBB currently is doing if they put in a lot of effort

If BB is getting axed, he won't be in a job for very long.
