Probably wouldn't have seemed right since they've worked so well as a team and potentially save themselves from eviction, to then suddenly turn on each other. They did the decent thing by not nominating each other

I think it was the way they were positioned: the women facing the men. So even though it was suggested that the women could be nominated, it didn't enter their minds to do so.
