does anyone else think this would be a cute idea like they renew the contract but it’s just 4/5 weeks winter CBB and the same for summer civi BB

I feel like it takes longer to know the HMs in a civillian series and longer to get invested into it so it needs to be a bit longer

Big Brother Bulgaria's 5th season back in 2015 (which is their last civilian season) lasted 26 days, which is the record for the shortest BB civilian season worldwide.

Unless you count Saudi BB which got cancelled around day 11

It would be poor because the producers don't know how to structure a series - they'd reduce it to 4 weeks but still put in enough housemates for it to last 14 weeks and not bother with midweek evictions for the first 2 weeks.

If C5 do retain it what they should do is commit to one celeb series (3-4 weeks) a year and one civilian series (10-12 weeks) a year. What they're most likely to do is axe the civilian series and have two, perhaps even three, "celeb" series a year, even though the celeb series now rates no better than the civilian version yet costs them hundreds of thousands in fees.
