It's endearing. Two people who appreciate a respectable young person. However, do they see her as so childlike and naive that she listens to them and respects everything they say?. Both Ann and Amanda are two very opinionated people...and they probably always have been. Ann and Amanda are two different people in many ways. I can imagine what Amanda got up to in her youth would make Ann shudder..Amanda having experimented sexually with 3 in a bed etc.
You would think that they would have more in common with Ashley, who has opinions and quite headstrong. Ashleys decision to attach herself to Ginwine probably went against her as far as Ann and Amanda were concerned because she let her heart rule her head.
Two strong willed elder women loving the adoration of a naive 29 year old...it's quite intriguing.

A very unusual friendship with Jess in the mix. I dont think I have ever seen such a closeness between two much older housemates and the youngest in there. It has lasted right through and I think its great
