I felt winston got treated badly by bb, they set him up in a task that had nothing to do with issues, the things he said where told back even before 2012, and out of the blue, bb brought up what he said, I did not agree in the word he said that it is child abuse, I thought it was a bit too strong of a word to use, but it would not make a lick of difference if he said that I'm against gay adoption because the child has no choice or say in the matter, the lynch mob would still went after him for it, bb went low in my estimation for using him like that,

I actually think I find Ann's insinuation that a person's mother and grandmother would be embarrassed/ashamed/not proud of their son/grandson for playfighting with another man more offensive than any of the other single-issue views she or Evander and Winston had. I mean it's so damn stupid and absurd it's actually laughable

Winston wasn't even that awful a housemate  Completely and totally harmless. Disapprove of his views but he was a much less offensive version of Ken Morley in driving more life into the first week of CBB17 like him or not.

As for Ann and in general housemates with controversial views, I really don't judge them on it unless it shapes who they are as housemates, which is why Evander is an absolutely horrible housemate, whereas someone like Derek Laud who is on the outside world a homophobic Tory is still typically seen by people as a fantastic housemate. If the views Ann expressed became one of THE focal points of her then i'd probably not like her. But it doesn't represent at all what she's like as a housemate so not fussed

Totally agree with this I remember being outraged at his treatment, big brother signed him up knowing his views and then forced the whole thing causing huge backlash for Winston. I don’t agree with any of his views but even as a gay man myself I believe his treatment during those few days in the house was a disgrace

I think it strengthens the proof that the producers are pathetic! Winston was completely disposable to them where as on the other hand Ann is Ann bloody Widdecombe and completely non disposable

Ann's the only one had the power to prevent the liberalisation of the laws.

Thank God she failed.

Bit contradictory tbf when Winston was a UKIP member  . But i didn't watch Evander or Winston i MISSED those series of CBB . But in those clips they don't exactly come across well let's be honest .

Ann is more articulate and she comes across alot less ignorant , plus she gets on with the hm's.

Ok I'm going to be hated for this probably. But Ann isn't homophobic

Religious people hold a deep regard for the bible and for men to not lie with men is an instruction from God. God doesn't change his views according to the bible. It's times that have changed but people who have a deep regard for their religion try to adhere to the bible. This doesn't mean they have a phobia of gay people or hate people, rather they love all people they just don't agree with their actions and would rather not know about what they do. I know that people can't help if they are gay or not but acting on it and practicing homosexuality is a choice for that person it doesn't mean everyone should have to accept it

It's ok i know what you're trying to say . But obviously different people interpret religion in their own way, some aren't as strict and other's take everything literal that's written down .

The thing is topics like this just make us go around in circles, as people can't accept Ann's views and they throw insults at her instead which is childish :bored: .

They don't realise you can't change the world to fit your agenda  that's not how life works .

But i feel like we live in a world where we get too PC over things in fear of offending someone . But people are entitled to their opinion ,aslong as they're not being malicious or nasty then i don't have a problem with it.

indeed, the Bible teaches her to hate the act and not the person

the 2 "scissor sisters" would do well to take out their Bibles and read about sodom and gomorrah
