I think your title is a tad misleading... You could say that about the hostesses at the 'presidents club' :/

Ridiculous idea. Those women are models, they're paid, they're not co-erced... sadly it looks like while protecting women from being abused, an "all or nothing" stance is being adopted.

I don't see why they had to scrap these girls doing this job if they wanted to do that for a job surely it's up to them. Some women like to be noticed and enjoy the attention so why not? I myself as a women see nothing wrong with the walk on girls :conf:

Hush, we are no longer allowed to do anything gender specific, you know the rules, there are no such thing as boobs and if there ARE boobs, they are certainly not sexually appealing in any way.

You think the host broadcasters are feminists? :suspect:They pander to the modern feminists who push for these things. Because if they didn't indulge them, then they'd be sexist. And they don't want the hassle.

I don't agree, Alfie. I think the men who run the companies and sh1t-scared of being dragged into a Weinstein-style outrage. They're massively overreacting and in their haste not to be seen as sexists, they've taken, as I said before, an all-or-nothing approach which benefits no one.

I'm a feminist. There are lots of feminists on this forum. Real feminists. None of us are dungeree-wearing Millie Tants. We're normal, thinking, functioning women, but we are not being heard.

But there's a group out there who seem to have the loudest megaphones (platforms} calling themselves feminists, they're hurting women and giving women a bad name.

I see that, Alfie, that you're supporting the choice of these women. I was just arguing that "feminists" are not the ones who made the decision. It was men, scared of being seen as sexist, and bowing to the will of the minority.

Before they take steps like this, they should open it up to some kind of pole. Because real feminists would never stop a woman earning a living in any way she chooses.
